Overview
Pre Safari nite in Arusha and 4 nites while on safari. This classical Roy Safaris itinerary will take you to Tarangire (During dry season) or Lake Manyara (Wet Season), the world famous Serengeti national park and UNESCO world heritage site The Ngorongoro crater. This package is inclusive of airport transfers and transport in a Roy Safaris custom built 4WD Safari vehicle, park and concession fees, accommodation and meals in Roy Safaris approved lodges and tented camps!

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport
Stop At: Arusha, Arusha, Arusha Region
On arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport, you shall be met by your friendly Roy Safaris transfer guide and driven to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
Duration: 12 hours

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
Your day begins early with a hearty breakfast at The African tulip, followed by a short introduction to your driver/guide, and a drive to Tarangire/Lake Manyara national park for your wildlife safari experience in Tanzania! You shall have picnic lunches at a location within the park, and late afternoon drive to The Retreat at Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti National park
Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
Another exciting day begins with a drive to the famous Serengeti national park, which the Maasai’s aptly named SIRINGIT, or the land of endless plains! Your drive will take you up the Ngorongoro highlands and further into Serengeti national park where you will experience the true magic of being in this vast savanna. By late evening, it will be time for you to head to Acacia central camp for your dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti National park.
Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
This day begins rather spectacularly with a sunrise game drives in the Serengeti plains followed by picnic breakfast at a location within the park followed by more game drives and lunch at the camp. After a short rest, you shall have an afternoon game drive and a sunset game drive as you head to the camp, where your camp staff at Acacia central camp will be waiting for you! Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: To Ngorongoro Conservation area.
Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
On this day, you shall be leaving the Serengeti park with a morning game towards eastern Serengeti, and exit the park where you will do game drive as you head to Tortilis Ngorongoro in time for sunset, dinner and overnight

Day 6: Ngorongoro crater tour and drive to Arusha.
Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
Another beautiful day begins with an early drive into Ngorongoro crater, it is a living garden of eden, and a place where you will see the BIG five! And Maasai taking their cattle for a salt lick, it is an experience that is hard to put in words! Picnic breakfast at a hippo pool area and further game drives before you start journey back to Arusha and onward to Kilimanjaro airport (Expected arrival time 19h00), you shall bid farewell to your driver/guide and leave Roy Safaris as your friends in Tanzania!

What an incredible experience Roy Safaris curated for us! We asked for sunsets, hotels with incredible views, and a mother & daughter holiday and they delivered above and beyond. Our guide James was very knowledgeable and professional. Totally a bird encyclopedia! We were super excited to identify over 55 different birds in Taringire and Ngorongoro Crater, as well as flora and fauna and animals too. Roy Safaris also organised for us to spend time with the Hazabe, Datoga and Iraqw indigenous communities learning about their culture and history. We even went to a single origin, organic n coffee farm and learned about the coffee farming process and enjoyed some delicious coffee. The cars were very comfortable, and even had phone charging stations! A fridge stocked with snacks and drinks kept everything chilled and fresh. The process to organise our holiday was seamless, a couple of emails with the Roy Safari team letting them know what we would like, they also made suggestions on hotels and lodges which were perfect!
