This is a top shelf tour of four speciality tapas bars and restaurants in central old Madrid. Our bright hostess for the evening kept up a fast paced explanation of many of the differing types of Spanish wines, how they varied by region with the opportunity to taste a sample of these at each of the stops. It was much more than a simple tasting experience as it went into depth around the tradition of tapas amongst the Spanish, how to manage a delightful night out with friends by visiting numerous tapas bars across the night out, and how to order tapas like a local. There were some selections that a non Spaniard would probably not order but almost all were delicious Everyone’s appetite was satisfied by the conclusion of the night Highly recommendedWe loved this tapas and wine tour. Carlos was an amazing guide and took us to some amazing eateries for amazing food. We especially loved La Casa del Abuelas for the garlic shrimp but all the places we visited were amazing. Highly recommend doing this if you are in Madrid.

It was great overview and allowed us to be more comfortable and adventurous in dining during our visit to Spain. We enjoyed this tour so much, we did another one in Seville, but this one was our favorite and one of our most enjoyable and memorable evenings in Spain.
