Chianti Wine Tour with tuscan Lunch, Visit to S.Gimignano and Organic Wineries
Overview
First we tour vineyards and cellar of an organic farm in the heart of the Chianti region, receiving an up close look at the production and ageing process of the Chianti wines and learning about the secrets of the extra virgin olive oil making.
This experience includes a wine tasting and the opportunity to buy for cheap the best tuscan wines. Our trip continues on to the medieval town of San Gimignano, where you will also have the chance to try the famous world champion Dondoli gelato.
We then move on to a second winery where we enjoy an authentic tuscan lunch, combined to a wine tasting class.
On our way back we stop at Piazzale Michelangelo, in the top ten of the most romantic spots in Europe.

We will visit our first winery in the breathtaking Chianti region.

We will enjoy a guided visit to the stunning hilltop medieval village of San Gimignano where we will stop at the museum SanGimigano1300, see the main squares, enjoy world champion gelato along with the most scenic panoramic view followed by free time to wander and explore the village.

We will visit our second winery, where we will
indulge in a traditional Tuscan lunch along with wine tasting of wines produced by the winery.

One of the most beautiful places to visit in Florence overlooking the renaissance city, a breathtaking view, and where a replica of Michelangelo's Statue of David stands in the centre of the plaza.

The difference maker in the trip was our guide along with the very organized tour company. We loved that there was time to walk around and explore on our own but that we had good support and lots of information at each of the stops.
