The Valley of the Kings:
the burial ground of the pharaohs rulers from the 18th to 20th dynasty , For a period of 500 years beginning in the 16th century BC, tombs were built along this valley for pharaohs , including that of the great Pharaoh Ramses II and boy Pharaoh Tutankhamen. Found in 1922 by British archaeologist and Egyptologist Howard Carter.

No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak Temples , where generations of pharaohs wished to record their names. Walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall , to reach the sacred lake of the temple ,The Karnak complex is actually three main temples situated on 247 acres of land considered as the largest religious center ever built .

Temple of Hatshepsut, ancient Egypt’s first female pharaoh , She came to power during the New Kingdom after the death of her father, Tuthmose I, and her half-brother and husband, Tuthmose II, who succeeded her father on the thrown.

Stop At: Colossi of Memnon, Thebes, Luxor Egypt
enjoy a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon , Two massive stone statues of king Amenhotep III are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite stone which exist in Cairo then moved 700 KM to Luxor.

Because in the end of the journey the most important things are what you see and what you have learn about. 🙂 I recommend !Don't get scared off by getting picked up at 05:00 am - our tour guide Mohammed made sure that like this we would always stay ahead of the crowds, which I highly appreciated. Especially at the first stop (the Karnak temple). His English was very good and he explained everything in a sound yet hum...
Don't get scared off by getting picked up at 05:00 am - our tour guide Mohammed made sure that like this we would always stay ahead of the crowds, which I highly appreciated. Especially at the first stop (the Karnak temple). His English was very good and he explained everything in a sound yet humorous way - it was a pleasure! Personally, I had trouble digesting all the impressions - on the other hand you don't wanna miss a thing doing such a tour. Maybe consider giving a bit more time at each of the attractions so one can really take it in and get slowly ready to see the next site... There were two extra payments to make: the Nile-crossing by boat and the grave of Tutanchamun. I recommend doing the first. I enjoyed being on the water, however visiting the sceleton of Tutanchamun was something I did because it's something one does because of the hype around it. It was interesting seeing the remainings of a body over 3000 years old, but definitely not interesting enough to justify a price of 300,- Egyptian Pounds (approx.15,- EUR).
