The ride from the hotel included two stops to pickup two other couples. What should have been a 45-50 minute ride took over 90 minutes. There was a lot of waiting around. The camel rides were very brief and the atv guide makes you stay in a single file line and your cannot veer off course or go fast. The sandboarding was on a very small hill which made it difficult to gain much speed so wasn’t quite worth the hype. After the activities were done, you gave a lot of men trying to sell you smoothies, souvenirs, and your name written in Arabic. From there, more waiting around. We did the midday tour and the whole day ran late so be mindful when booking as you’ll likely be late for anything you have planned that evening. The ride into base camp for the BBQ was rough through the deserts. We waited for over an hour in the heat for food with little to no communication on what was happening. The food was delicious at the time but my husband had good poisoning and spent the remainder of our trip in and out of the bathroom.

We had an awesome time on the desert safari! I was nervous about Dune Bashing but it was super fun. (Glad I took gravol though!) Azeez was a great tour guide and made it really fun for us.

This was such an amazing experience for the whole family. Nothing short of exhilarating. You definitely need the right driver that is in tune with the excitement and terror of the passengers in the vehicle and Biju is that guy. The man knows how to drive and build up the excitement and create a few surprises. He is super skilled at the wheel.

We were picked up from our hotel on time. Shout out to our kind guide Sanoo who was very patient with the 2 kids onboard. I was hesitant to book this experience at first after reading many other negative reviews with other operators that cost cheaper so I’d rather spend a little more with Oceanair. The food was great too. So mahy kind of dishes were served. It was organized and didnt feel overcrowded. But the dune bashing isnt for the faint hearted. Me and my partner threw up after. Lol. But we had a great time.

On the day of our adventure, Mr. Shameer Hayder and Mr. Biju were our drivers. They were incredibly professional and their positive spirits added so much to our day. My driver was Azeez. A very talented, experienced and skilled driver!!! He made the whole ride much more enjoyable by communicating with us, explaining the sights we were passing by on the way to our location and giving us info about them. He also was very funny and pleasant to talk with. He made the ride one of the best experiences I ve ever had on a trip :D 20/10 If I or any of my friends ever visit abu dhabi in the future I ll recommend the company and of course the driver hoping they will get a chance to ride with him as well and have a such a great experience!!! Was an absolutely perfect excursion. Our driver / guide Biju was a total pro and made the day so memorable. Very friendly and knowledgeable, but also gave all of us a great thrill with some awesome dune bashing.

A professional tour by Ocean tours. We had a fantastic time Dune bashing, sand boarding and buggy riding. Sufi and Tanoura dance were awesome with decent food. Would call out Azeez for his professional driving and guide experience

We’re just back after having the pleasure of experiencing a 4 wheel drive ( 4WD) desert safari sand dune bashing with the amazing Biju from ‘OceanAir Travels’ in the Al Khatim desert in Abu Dhabi and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the adrenaline-pumping ride through the sand dunes to trying our best at sandboarding, every moment was filled with excitement. Then back to base camp for a dodgy but fun camel ride. The traditional dance shows added a cultural touch to the evening and the barbecue dinner was absolutely delicious. Our driver Biju was knowledgeable, friendly, and reassuringly knowledgeable in the sand dunes and ensured that we had a great time throughout the safari. Overall, we would highly recommend OceanAir Travels for anyone looking to experience a thrilling desert safari in Abu Dhabi. Asi is the best driver, he has very good music in his car. The trip and program was very fun. My family and I learnt so many things about the muslim customs.

It's not easy to write a review of this tour and our guide, Munaj, so that it would do them justice. It was the best tour we've ever had (and we visited 62 countries). The agency accommodated our very custom needs (shorter tour duration while keeping most of the itinerary, unusual pickup location, transporting a baby stroller). Munaj proved to be versed in many skills - he was an excellent driver (both on the road and the sand), won the trust of our 2yo daughter who was in a very bad mood, gave us very useful information and even doubled up as a photographer - I wish some professional photoshoots turned up as great as his random phone pictures of our family enjoying the tour activities. He turned our bad day into one of the best days of our travels and we're already thinking when to get back to Abu Dhabi to do some more sightseeing with him. Thank you Munaj once again for being awesome!

We can recommend the desert Safari. Especially our tour guide Hamza. It was a great afternoon and evening. We had a lot of fun.
