We really enjoyed the tour. It was really informative. I had taken the tour 5 years ago, but it was different and I heard a lot of names that I hadn’t heard before this time, so it was life a new experience. The singing was new, unexpected, and brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous! We didn’t know much of anything about the 1916 Rebellion. Our guide was patient, enthusiastic and shared so much information with the group!

Guide was knowledgeable and kept the story interesting. Guide even sang a couple of times. Walking around traffic could be tricky sometimes.

Liam, standing in for Lorcan Collins, was fantastic. Liam was very knowledgeable and had great narrative about places and people involved in and affected by the Easter Rebellion. Very helpful Irish History lesson to start with which helped put the 1916 Rebellion into context. A lot of interesting stories about people. Definitely recommemd

Damn that was amazing - super enjoyable and really talented orator bringing the history alive. We had a few people recommend this to us and totally see why. Will be recommending to everyone and anyone, and would have happily spent all day listening and learning.

Phelim was our guide today, met at the International Bar in Wicklow Street and had a chat downstairs, the bar itself is worth a visit,a great old time capsule. Phelim quickly introduced the tour to the knowledgeable and interested and also to those not so clued up on it. My son and I lapped it up,on a 3 day visit from Glasgow and having read voraciously on the subject,to be able to hear from a local expert and visit some of the main sites in person was breathtaking. I absolutely recommend the tour,to all. Find out why people strike for their freedom when it's easier to accept the status quo. A great couple of hours and booked on Viator. Thanks to Phelim, from Harry and Henry from Glasgow..

Excellent tour - really interesting and informative. Lorcan Collins, our tour guide, has an in-depth knowledge of, and obvious passion for the subject matter and was great at answering any questions any of us on the tour had. Definitely recommend

As a fan of Lorcan's podcast I was very much looking forward to doing this tour and it absolutely delivered! I have a big interest in Irish history and politics but my partner is less so, but we both really loved this tour. Lorcan is extremely smart and very funny, a real pro- I'm looking forward to reading his book about James Connolly. If you are in Dublin you should 100% do this tour, it's the best 20 euro you could spend!

My mate and I came over to Dublin from Glasgow for a couple of days, earlier this week and took the 1916 Rebellion walking tour a couple of hours after arriving. Lorcan was very knowledgeable on the subject and really is a personable guy. A 2 hour tour absolutely flew in. Definitely recommend

I recommend this tour for anyone visiting Dublin. The easter rising being a monumental part of the history of Éire there is no better way to understand it than to walk the streets of Dublin and hear the tale of the uprising from someone as passionate and knowledgable as tour guide Lorcán collins. Given Lorcán has been doing the tours since 1996, the year I was born id expect nothing less than a masterclass on the easter rising. Which when walking away after a couple of fast pasting hours, a masterclass was given. Go raibh míle maith agat.

An absolute must when in Dublin. Insightful and utterly entertaining. Lorcan is a gent. We at E&E Expeditions continually use Lorcan as part of our Experiential education for our groups.
