This was a memorable four hours in the company of our guide Mirice and a young couple from Slovenia. The route past the Roman aqueducts and back along the Via Appia itself was good with a number of stops to get background information from our guide and to take in our surroundings. Ideally we might have liked more time to pay more attention to the ancient ruins along the way and intend to go back and do some of it again on foot. Overall a very good trip but you do need to be confident on a bike; there are stretches of rough going and a number of bits at the beginning and end among the Roman traffic. Mirice, I have to say, guided us perfectly and we never felt unsafe even in the busiest sections.Gian Marco and Claudio were fabulous and so kind! This is a GREAT way to see the city of Rome in all of its natural beauty beyond the tourists. The e-bikes were fun and easy to use. This is a must!
