Cooking class with Chef Najla
Overview
I would start my cooking class by teaching you how to make Moroccan tea, then we'll settle down for tea time and enjoy delicious Moroccan cookies and cakes as we get to know each other.
the menu will consist of starters, main courses
I will walk you through the cooking process step by step and teach you my personal cooking technique and my unique selection of herbs and spices to create the most authentic Moroccan meal you have ever tasted.
NB: Afternoon lessons will be without shopping because we wont find anymore vegetables or it will be the rest of the morning, i will have to buy them before the class, please book the morning if you want to join the shopping

Had a great time with Najlae! Where to begin? First, she is super friendly, and very knowledgeable. She isn’t rigid, the meal is tailored to you, depending what you like or don’t like. Then she literally invites you into her home and explains how to prepare the meal and what the Moroccan spices are plus how to use them. Oh yeah, she also shows you how to make the classic mint tea, with some tips you won’t get anywhere else. Our group consisted of a chef, someone with absolutely zero cooking experience, and several in between, and we all enjoyed it. An absolute must-do for anyone who enjoys cooking, eating, spices, or Moroccan food!Najlae is a very enthousiastic and energetic woman with great hospitality. An amazing cook and a lot of knowledge. She even showed us the local tea making process and did henna for the woman. Amazing experience!

I am so glad we took this class. Najla was an absolute delight from the moment we met her! The whole experience felt like cooking with a great friend. Najla took us to local markets and gave us tips on choosing the best produce. We then had Moroccan tea and cakes. Najla showee us the process for cleaning gunpowder green tea which was very interesting. The cooking process was so fun and Najla had everything under control and the whole class was very smooth. Every person was able to get involved and the tagines plus the sides we made were perfect and tasted incredible. I love every single dish. Najla also gave us henna tattoos which was so kind of her and a lovely addition to the experience. I cannot fault this class at all and highly recommend that everyone takes part when visiting Marrakech. We learnt so many things that we will be trying for ourselves and I look forward to going back one day and meeting Najla again! Thank you so so much for everything!!
