Workers were very friendly and since it was raining I was able to go in the covered canal cruise! Also, the pick up location in front of the Anne Frank House was excellent as it was right in front!

This is the way to enjoy the beautiful city of Amsterdam. Yusuf and Mark were a great team and truly added to the experience. With Yusuf's knowledge of history, the tour was not only pleasurable but also quite educational. If you are planning a canal cruise with Flagship Amsterdam, I highly recommend that you sign-on with Yusuf and Mark. And then sit back and enjoy.

A very enjoyable hour long trip on the canals in Amsterdam. The guide gave lots of information about the buildings by the canals and was very entertaining! Got lots of photos.

Well priced, funny guide and friendly crew. Not overcrowded. They have snacks and drinks to buy on board.

Absolutely brilliant tour. Guides were great and explained the sights of Amsterdam perfectly. They were not shy to a joke or two and seemed happy to answer any questions we had. All drinks on board were included with our “unlimited” package. A MUST do when coming to Amsterdam.

We arrived late afternoon in Amsterdam and this cruise was the perfect kickoff to our vacation. The boat was beautiful and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly! My wife enjoyed a glass of wine and I had a beer, (cash bar) as the staff educated us on the history and culture of Amsterdam canal living. We both highly recommend this tour.

Unfortunately it was raining and the top was up but it wasn't a clear top so the canvas top blocked a lot of the scenery. Our tour Guide was new and he only mentioned about 20% of the places the tour itinerary said we'd pass by...a bit disappointing.

Great experience of Amsterdam. We had a good guide and beautiful weather. We'll definitely bring out of town guests to this again.

The weather was great! However we had a screaming baby so could not hear the tour guide, though even without the screaming baby I doubt we could here him front the front as his voice was not that strong to travel down that far. The tour guides should use headphone microphones!

Two nice men led the tour, one was the captain the other mixed drinks. They did not have a script or a microphone to speak into in. Both would have conversations with people at the same time. It was basically a boat trip with very little information. Relaxing but not much else.

The canal cruises in Amsterdam seem to divide into two categories: the ones in smaller open boats (with covers they can unroll I think in bad weather) with live guides and the larger boats with glass windows, perhaps a small open section at the back and recorded audio guides. This is in the former category, and I'm really glad that we went for one in that category rather than the slightly cheaper second category. I think they all follow a fairly similar route around Amsterdam. The live guide was good and fun. Not super-special but the guide did a decent job and you could ask questions etc. We'd been on a walking tour, so there was quite a bit of overlap in what was covered. It's fairly light on history if you are after that, but we were there with our children (10 and 13) so more wanted a fun, interesting tour and that wasn't a problem. The tour guide did a good job of alluding to the red light district and coffee shops without saying anything too direct about them and we'd already spoken to our children about them, but I imagine some children might ask questions! The one slightly frustrating thing was the boarding process. We booked tickets in advance and arrived 20 minutes before our time slot and got told to go and wait but then 15 minutes later hadn't had anybody come and tell us what was going on while we watched lots of other people arrive and get put on boats. It felt like we had been forgotten about and we weren't sure exactly what was going on, especially as nobody else was waiting. In the end we got put on the boat with all the other people who had arrived after us. I assume they had tickets for an earlier time slot, but the instructions said to arrive 10 minutes in advance, so it was a bit confusing, especially as it wasn't explained to us.

It was a lovely tour - boat was nice and comfy and the drink options were great. Our host/bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable with all the fun interesting details of the city.

Great crew. Very informative and friendly. Being on a smaller boat meant that we could travel down smaller canals away from the larger tourist boats

This was a great canal cruise. It’s a smaller boat and the guide and driver were great. A great way to see Amsterdam. We saw sights we never could’ve found on our own. If you take the tram to central station you are right by the departure point.

We took a canal tour n the open boat and had a wonderful time. It was a nice break from dodging bicycles on the streets of Amsterdam. Once we were on the water you could relax and look at the city n a new light. Our guide pointed out many aspects of the canal houses that we never would have noticed by ourselves. He was informative, charming, patient… just a perfect guide. The boat had an ample selection of drinks for sale at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

The cruise was nice. The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. It was misty and cold - would have been nice if the boat were covered, but you take a chance.

First, note that this location is west of the bridge. It's not noted well. This seems to be a Flagship or Captain jack cruise. You can pick any of the other ones. This one did not have a canopy. The boat didn't start loading until 5 minutes after the designated time. Then we sat in the boat for 10 minutes while drink orders were taken. Then we were off. The guide was a young Dutch woman who said it was her first tour and clearly she did not seem trained. Rather than a smooth, ongoing narrative, she would spout some superficial facts now and then. She talked about her grandma's apartment. She wasted time with "can you guess how old Amsterdam is?" and "Can you guess the 4 things different about Amsterdam canal houses?" Don't waste my time with guessing games, please just do your job and narrate. Small pet peeve: she called us "guys" every sentence. She was silent the last 10 minutes because she had to collect payment for the drinks. Honestly, I think this was the worst choice of many canal tours available

The boat ride was awesome. But Max and Salwa were even better. Cant recommend this enough! You will NOG regret it, honestly!
