Day 1: ASWAN | PHILAE TEMPLE
Stop At: Temple of Philae, Island of Agilika, Aswan Egypt
Fly to Aswan, Begin your day of exploring here by visiting Aswan High Dam, Then ride by motorized boat to the island of Agilika and view the Philae Temple. This sacred complex was dedicated to the goddess Isis and reflects a fusion of three great civilizations- Egyptian, Greek and Roman. Later, step aboard Nile Cruise on the Nile River, Enjoy lunch followed by Ride Like a Local around the Aswan islands in a felucca (weather permitting). Meals: Lunch, Dinner.

Day 2: DESIGN YOUR DAY | CRUISING THE NILE
Stop At: Abu Simbel Temple Complex, Abu Simbel, Abu Simbel Egypt
Enjoy one of these Design Your Day activities, Drive to Abu Simbel (3 hrs each way by road, pre-bookable $110 Per Person) There, behold the towering twin temples of Ramses II and his wife, Queen Nefertari, rescued from the flooding waters of the Aswan High Dam. Or enjoy Nubian Village trip ($45 Per Person). Lunch will be served on board while cruising to Kom Ombo. Later, disembark at Kom Ombo to visit the Greco-Roman temple dedicated to Haroeris (the sun god) and Sobek (the crocodile god), and view the mummified remains of several crocodiles that once basked along the ancient Nile shore, just as their descendants do today. Continue sailing toward Edfu, Tonight’s dinner onboard features an “Egyptian Night” costume party, with a chance to dress up in traditional galabeyyas. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 3: CRUISING THE NILE | TEMPLES OF LUXOR
Stop At: Temple of Karnak, Karnak, Luxor Egypt
Visit the Temple of Horus , Cruise to Luxor, passing riverside villages where time has seemingly stood still and soaking in the ambience aboard your Nile cruise, taking in the views, as history unfolds all around you. Arrive Luxor, site of the ancient city of Thebes. visit the East bank of the Nile, the Temple of Karnak, where generations of pharaohs wished to record their names. Walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall; its expertly aligned columns, the largest of which is 80 feet high with a 33-foot circumference, are a sight to behold. Next, the striking Temple of Luxor. Behold the three large statues of Ramses II along the front of the temple pylons; the Courtyard of Ramses II behind the East Tower; and the Colonnade of Amenhotep III, with its 14 papyrus-headed columns, some fully 50 feet in height. Stop At: Valley of the Kings, Luxor City, Luxor 85511 Egypt
Today, bid farewell to your Nile Cruise, disembarking to visit Valley of the Kings, legendary burial ground of the pharaohs and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was here in 1922 that the tomb of “the boy king, ” Tutankhamun, was found by British archaeologist Howard Carter. Now discover it for yourself, as you set foot inside its 35-century-old walls. Also visit three tombs, in the Valley of the Kings. Continue to the lovely Temple of Hatshepsut, ancient Egypt’s first female pharaoh and regarded today as one of its most successful Also visit the. Stop for a selfie with the gigantic Colossi of Memnon. Later, transfer to the Luxor airport Meals: Breakfast.

The guides even queued for us at the ticket stand. Their knowledge and delivery of information was fantastic and their level of English was superb. Spent three amazing days on the Nile exploring many interesting sites. We were greeted by our friendly tour guide John who made us feel immediately at ease. John was an extremely knowledgeable guide who not only knew the area well but he was also extremely well versed in ancient Egyptian history. We absolutely loved doing all the tours and I would recommend Journey to Egypt and our guide John to anyone. John also took care of the small things that matter so much such as having cold water and plenty of breaks for coffee. He also took us to the best places to buy souvenirs. We were a group of 7 ranging from a 4 year old up to an 80 year old so was a bit worried how we could manage but it was all brilliant. The tour guide that journey to Egypt gave us (George) was so experienced and, being a parent, knew how to entertain the kids during the temple visits by making them part of the stories he told. We learnt a huge amount about ancient Egypt, the gods, kings and even hyrogliphs. The package gives lots of flexibility to chop and change things around to suit. The boat we went on was really clean and modern. There were a few things on the programme such as arab costume night, but not all of them were on (or maybe we just didn’t see it) and there probably needed someone from the boat to get people interested in it. Plenty of food served at breakfast, lunch and dinner. We stayed one night in Aswan beforehand and a night in Luxor at the end, which I would highly recommend as there’s some fantastic homely places to stay in both places. Tourist spots can be a bit draining with street sellers constantly trying to sell you stuff. Basically offer them around 1/3 of what they’re asking and you should be fine.jvin999

Best agency I've worked with so far! Mr. Ousama the managing director was very fast his responses to my constant questions and very informative! Two qualities that are very important to expect from an agency when visiting a country that is new to you! We were placed in 5 star accommodations including the Concerto cruise line from Aswan to Luxor in a private tour with an amazing tour guide named Abanoub! I can't thank Abanoub enough for providing us with the best guidance and information about the Pharaohs and the beautiful country of Egypt! He went above and beyond to tell us the history in such a way that we couldn't wait to visit the next temple to hear the rest of the story! He is a top notch guide that is up to date with all the new excavations that are currently happening and knows alot of fun facts! He is also an amazing photographer! Any requests we had such as going to the market or to recharge our phone credit in between excursions and after he made sure we were safe and escorted us along the way ! We are currently in hurghada enjoying the remainder of our trip reminiscing the past three days and how wonderful it was thanks to Journey to Egypt Mr. Abanoub and Mr. Ousama, as well as our private drivers and cruise ship staff and captains!
