My family and I chose to visit Xi’an so our children would get to see the Terracotta Warriors and experience Chinese culture and learn more about Chinese civilisation. Tina was our guide who met us early in the morning and stayed with us all the way till the end of the day. She was flexible and gave us the choices of what we could cover during the tour, helped us understand the key events in Chinese history during the tour, and provided us with translation help when we needed it. We were especially touched that she went the extra mile and advised us about the importance of collecting our tickets in advance for the bullet train that we were taking early the next day. She even guided us all the way! We could not have asked for a better guide! We are deeply appreciative of the special help that we received. We had our tour in English which was a huge plus point as neither of us spoke very good mandarin, let alone reading. We had a truly amazing day with Nana when we experienced one of the Wonders of the World at the site of the Terracotta Warriors. Nana was a delight to be with and her excellent English and knowledge of the many sites we visited made the day so much more interesting. The Cultural Show in the evening completed a fabulous day.
