Live the most amazing paragliding flight near to the city of Medellin. Let´s drive 1.5 hour until Cocorna municipality where flying zone is. Fly until 25 minutes and enjoy the view of giant waterfalls. At our return to Medellin, we will stop in a restaurant in the top of the mountains for lunch (no included) where you can enjoy the best traditional food and the 360 degree view of the mountains of Antioquia.
You must know the conditions to fly depends of the weather, a cold wind or few breeze causes a less time flight. Our flight is until 25 minutes if this conditions are very good, otherwise, you will fly less time.
It is important to say the weather behavior in Cocorna canyons is very different than Medellin´s weather and it is extremely difficult to know how it will be in the time. So, we have 95% of probabilities to fly based in our flights database and experience.

(not included) and a amazing 360 degree view of the mountain of Antioquia. If this option is note taken, we will go to the hotel directly,
2:00 - 1:00 pm : start the return to your hotel after lunch in the rastaurant
3:00 - 2:00 pm: arrival to your hotel

Had a great day with John Freddie. We went paragliding, climbed the penon de guatape then visited the town. It was our first time paragliding and we had a great time. Soaring high over the waterfalls and the valley was an unforgettable experience. Then we went to the penon de guatape. My wife a...
Had a great day with John Freddie. We went paragliding, climbed the penon de guatape then visited the town. It was our first time paragliding and we had a great time. Soaring high over the waterfalls and the valley was an unforgettable experience. Then we went to the penon de guatape. My wife and I climbed the 700+ steps to the top of the lookout tower and the view was well worth the exercise. Tips: go at your own pace. We stopped every 100 steps or so. It took us 27 minutes to go up. Also, the tour fee doesn’t include the entry fee for penon and they don’t take credit card so we had to pay with cash. Finally, we visited the town of Guatape, which was a highlight of our trip to Colombia. The town was so unique and beautiful. John Freddie was friendly and very knowledgeable. He new the history of the rock and the town of guatape very well which enriched our experience. We highly recommend this day trip and promise that you will not be disappointed.Adventurer682165

The paragliding was exhilarating! It was fun and thrilling. We enjoyed the trip to Guatape. The town was colorful and vibrant. The tour guide, Alex, was patient, flexible, friendly and personable. This activity is a definitely must try.

I decided to go paragliding on my solo trip to Medellin. It was a beautiful experience and I’m so happy I went. Everyone was super sweet including my driver/guide Sebastian! Will definitely be back to do this again with friends. Thank you Ecoventure! 😊

Julian and his team are fantastic - we also met Thomas and Esteban (mouse!). They organised our trip from Medellin paragliding and white water rafting and accommodated our timetable as we were only in Medellin for a few days. When one day we couldn’t go rafting (for safety as it had rained the night before) they transferred us to Guatape anyway and re-arranged the rafting for the next day and dropped us at the airport. Nothing was too much hassle. Julian has built the business from scratch and they offer a lot of ‘bucket list’ experiences with brilliant service. They also take safety very seriously and are very professional. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
