Furore is a typical town on the Amalfi Coast, particularly known for its fjord. The latter consists of a striking recess of the sea, located on the way out of an overhanging valley.

About 1 hour drive from Positano we will arrive in Amalfi, visiting the iconic multi-colored 9th-century Arab-Norman Sant'Andrea cathedral or browsing the rows of shops along the town's side-streets. Between the 9th and 11th centuries, it was the seat of a powerful maritime republic.

Frank texted on the day before our tour to confirm the details and helped us set up a guide for our time in Pompeii. The next morning our driver, Rafi, was early and waiting on us. Our tour was punctuated by information that Rafi delivered while we enjoyed a private and comfortable ride along the Amalfi coast. Rafi was knowledgeable about the many small towns and was easy to understand ( his English skills were very good). We stopped in a couple of towns along the coast to get a feel of the lifestyle and also refreshments. After the scenic drive along the coast, we made the pleasant drive to Pompeii and were met by Claudia, the guide Frank arranged. For the next couple of hours we toured Pompeii with her and we’re mesmerized by the story of this historic town. Rafi was ready for us upon our exit from the site and dropped us off at the cruise port with plenty of time until we set sail. Throughout the entire day we felt comfortable, safe and unhurried by our guides. 5 star service is the best way to describe our experience!Had a great time with Raffi. Beautiful day to drive the coastline and Raffi was very informative of the sights we were seeing.

We did do a separate tour there and had a private guide which was also wonderful. I highly recommend this tour.We had a great time!! Raffy provided us with an amazing tour, took us to this pizza place, the market and more! We were treated like a VIP. Thanks Raffy! We enjoyed our time in Italy!
