Overview
Enjoy a stress-free transfer from your hotel in Cartagena de Indias to your hotel in Santa Marta. This rate includes bottled water per person. The trip last from 4 to 4 hours and a half (time varies depending on traffic). Drivers do not speak English. Once you meet him he will take you to the vehicle and the next destination will be your hotel. There is one optional stop after passing Barranquilla where you can stretch your legs and go to the toilette. There is also the possibility to stop for lunch in case you need it.

What to expect
According to the pick-up hour you provided, the professional driver will be waiting for you at your hotel's front desk. Once you meet our driver, he will take you to the vehicle where he will offer you bottled water, then, he will take you to your hotel.

• The price/rate is per vehicle.
• TAGANGA is not within the Santa Marta area and it has a different price - See our other products in our listing.
• There is an optional stop (10 to 15 minutes) after passing Barranquilla, where you will have the opportunity to stretch your legs and buy some coffee.
• Optionally, in case you would like to take lunch, we can stop whenever you require it at no additional charge, please take into account that the meal is not included within the fare.
• There is not any guide or translator for this transfer, and drivers do not speak English, however if you need any special requirement, for instance a booster seat, one stop at the ATM, or something else, do not hesitate to ask for it in advance.
• Anything else that it is not listed in here it is not included in the offered rate.

Very comfortable transportation. Our driver, Aldo was extremely cautious and very knowledgeable. Definitely a great way to travel from Cartagena to Santa Marta.

I asked for advice on where I could get a hiking bag in Santa Marta last minute. He told me he wasn't sure but knew of a place along the way and offered to make a stop. Juan Carlos really made our drives from Cartagena to the Parque Tayrona and back very special. Not only is he an excellent driver, but he knows the area extremely well and told us fascinating stories about the indigenous people, the recent social/political history of Colombia, and his own family history. He truly gave us a far deeper understanding of our surroundings than we ever could have picked up by reading guide books. A personable and responsible young man, he has studied English at the Univeryof Santa Marta and has traveled widely in Europe. His English is excellent. Four of us needed to get from Cartagena to Santa Marta’s El Rodadero. Looked at various options. The bus was less expensive but required taxis at both ends. We booked a van through Viator. Then one of our group, who had been unable to shake an illness, throughout the previous week of our trip...
Four of us needed to get from Cartagena to Santa Marta’s El Rodadero. Looked at various options. The bus was less expensive but required taxis at both ends. We booked a van through Viator. Then one of our group, who had been unable to shake an illness, throughout the previous week of our trip, decided to return home, 28 hours before our van trip. It was easy to cancel and rebook for the three of us. Our driver, Juan Carlos, was terrific. He was early, but we were ready. He is a well-educated, well-traveled millennial and we enjoyed conversation with him during the trip. He offered a very slight detour to look at the mud volcano. We had considered an excursion there but after reading about it, ruled it out. But it was fun to see - less than 2 minutes off the route. He is from Santa Marta and gave us suggestions for restaurants and things to do. Safe, efficient, and door to door - well worth using this service.KyleASpence
