The tour guide Victor was really competent, he knew a lot of historic facts about the city, gave a lot of recommendations and he was a funny guy

Very informative tour led by the experienced guide Kalvin. He was very knowledgeable about Hamburg's history and added joviality and humour over the 2 hours. This was a fantastic walking tour & a great way to see the city. Savvy was very knowledgeable & kept things interesting. We were lucky that the sun was shining & we were provided ideas of other places around the city to visit.

This tour is a very informative tour and shows you around the main hostorical areas of Hamburg. Unfortunately on the day we did the tour it was pouring with rain, but the guide was very accommodating and found areas of shelter for us to stand whilst he talked to us about the areas. You do not need to book this tour, that was a waste , just turn up to the yellow umbrellas at the town hall. Nawaz as our tour guide and it was a great tour. Thank you

Great value tour, Savvy the tour guide was brilliant, enthusiastic and audible to the group. Good knowledge of the history of Hamburg. Tour is right length very easy to do if you have mobility.

Really good tour and a nice way to get a good introduction to the city. The tour takes you through the key history areas but you also walk through a number of places you can then get lunch which if you’re new to the city is very helpful. Would highly recommend. It’s a “free” tour where you pay what you what you think the tour was worth at the end.

I have to say I was hesitant to book this tour as I thought it was too good to be true with a price of $3.33 pp, and we only had one day in Hamburg. This was an excellent tour, beyond our expectations! Our tour guide, Savvy was incredible! Just tip what you think it’s worth. This was better than many of our cruise tours! Now we are going to start using Viator more often.

We joined this tour on a grey Monday in March. We opted for the English language tour with Calvin. We booked in advance through the website but that turned out to be a waste of time and money, we should have just turned up. The tour was 2 hours long and was an absolutely excellent introduction to Hamburg. There were only 5 of us on the tour but that didn't deter Calvin from working extremely hard to give us all the facts and to answer our many questions. He was fun, charming and knowledgeable and made the tour riveting and interesting. Highly recommended if you're in Hamburg!

It was an amazing and in depth tour of the city. The guide was well versed with the city and also very friendly. Would highly recommended it to anyone who wants to explore the city in a couple of hours.
