Whitewater Rafting Adventure
Overview
Join this Chiang Mai rafting adventure and takes you on a thrilling river over class III and IV white-water rapids. You will learn paddling technique from our expert trained guides to make sure your adventure is safe. Lunch and hotel transfers is included.
Program itinerary:
11:30am-12noon: Pick up in Chiang Mai and drive to our camp takes about 1.5 hours
13.15pm: Arrive at camp for orientation and registration
13.30pm: Lunch
14.00pm: White water rafting experience for 3 hours. Including safety talk and training. Actual water time varies depending on the level of the river. Low water is about 2.45 hours on the water and high water is about 2 hours on the water
17:15pm: Arrive back at camp, shower and depart for Chiang Mai
7pm: Arrive at your hotel in Chiang Mai

Itinerary
This awesome 10KM White Water Rafting adventure is broken into 3 sections. First section of the river is a great warm-up, it has one Class III rapid and is a beautiful part of the river with the jungle offering lots of shade. The middle section is action-packed with rapids and is renowned as the best white water in Thailand! Most of this is Class III and IV rapids. The third section gives you some time to relax before entering a great Class III and into a continuous section of rapids that lead down to 8Adventure's base camp
We have top-of-the-line helmets (CE approved) & life jackets (US coast guard approved). Expert trained guides to make sure your adventure is safe. Trip includes pickup from your hotel with in Chiang Mai City by van, towel for drying off, shower facilities, lockers & lunch (Vegetarian option available). Make sure to bring a 2nd set of dry clothes for the ride home. We are a premium service with focus on safety first.
For children under 15 or as a choose for adults filling apprehensive about the white water we may ask or you may choose to go around the difficult section with the van. There is a road along this entire section.

- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately

That was an amazing whitewater rafting experience in Chiang Mai. They offer a variety of choices for outdoor activities. I recommend trying it if you are an outdoor person.💯

Very nice and professional experience. The team took a great care about us and rafting as well views very breathtaking. The food was delicious and option to have photos (although for extra charge) came very handy.

I can't recommend doing this enough! The whole experience was awesome and so well organized. The pickup was on time and they used the drive time to give a safety briefing. By the time we got to the location, our instructors were ready for us! While it was only myself and my fiance who had signed ...
I can't recommend doing this enough! The whole experience was awesome and so well organized. The pickup was on time and they used the drive time to give a safety briefing. By the time we got to the location, our instructors were ready for us! While it was only myself and my fiance who had signed up for the day, all the instructors made it super fun despite the lack of people. It was clear that they were experienced individuals who knew exactly what they were doing. The lunch was fantastic (very yummy) and the facility was so well organized (plastic bags for wet clothes, pictures for purchasing, lockers, etc.) We absolutely loved this experience and would 100% do it again!TheresaK0385

8Adventures provided us with all-inclusive service by picking us up at our office with the air-conditioned shuttle, serving a delicious lunch upon our arrival ( - "excellent!"), then by giving us a full safety briefing and making sure we were well protected by providing us with a full safety kit before we set off on the real adventure. Our 2- hour whitewater rafting sounded like a very long journey, but the time went by so fast and was filled with lots of fun. Some of the sections gave us adrenaline rushes, some of them were surprisingly relaxing and calm. Every second of this 10 km rafting trip was breathtaking scenery; Spectacular flora and fauna, bright blue skies and bubbling white waters. At first, the surging white rapids looked a little intimidating for some of us, but once we were all sat in our places, paddles in hands, we felt confident because there were so many safety professionals around us. Each group had its own trained leader from 8Adventures, and we felt like they truly knew every single rock in the river. It was an amazing day!
