Our airline Vietjet cancelled our flight and rebooked us 10 hours earlier which compromised our tour. Tommy was very helpful in that he started the tour an hour earlier to My Son and dropped us off at the airport in time for our new flight time. I cannot think of another tour operator who would have been so helpful. We arrived at My Son an hour ahead of the crowds which was really good as we had the place to oursleves. Our guide was excellent providing us with lots of quality information and nothing was too much trouble. My friends and I used Tommy Dao tour operators for two separate tours. One to Ba Na Hills with a young lady named Vie (not sure of spelling) and the other to My Son Sanctuary with the famous Mr Ken. Both guides spoke excellent English and were very knowledgeable about the locations they took us to. Mr Ken’s own personal history was very interesting to hear. My Son sanctuary is well worth the visit but I would definitely recommend a guide to get the most out of it. So you can understand how the most recent Vietnamese war damaged them. Although some of the monuments have been poorly restored there are others that have been done well and all of them give you an idea of what it was like. The newer restorations are done so you can clearly see what is old and what is new. The area is also very beautiful to visit. We were warned however to not go off the tracks. Athough all land mines are supposed to have been cleared there is no guarantee that they have got them all. If you do this tour I would recommend you go as early as possible. We were one of the first visitors of the day and we still found it incredibly hot. I couldn’t fault Tommy Dao’s tours. They were on time, well planned and had excellent guides. We also met Tommy himself at the end of the tour and he seems to be a very friendly, genuine and clever businessman. Loved our tours. Can't praise Tommy DAO Tours enough. Can't praise Tommy DAO Tours enough. First day in Hoi An Tommy came to the hotel to meet myself and my grown children. Found out our interests and tailored our tours and guides to suit us even down to the food. We did 6 tours in four days. Each tour was fun, informative and well thought out. Our guide Lam was hilarious but also a history genius. Tommy knows where the best of Hoi An is and makes sure his client's sees and experiences them. I'll be back to Hoi An and when I come I'll use Tommy DAO Tours again. Thanks for everything TommyWe had a great day out to My Son with our tour guide Ken and driver.
