I was traveling alone and booked last minute. I had a great day, and felt very comfortable. Jinoy gave me lots of information and had the answers to any questions. The fish market was great to see, I also did the Dutch canal with them, it was beautiful and quiet would definitely recommend.

My wife & I arranged this day tour as the first day of our Sri Lankan tour was a free day. I'm glad we did. Neel picked us up right on time with a very clean air conditioned vehicle. He took us around to all the main sights giving us suggestions of what we might be interested in. The fish market, being such a big part of Negombo daily life was an interesting experience from the auctioning to the dried fish processing to the retail side of things. We could have also gone on a lagoon tour which Neel could have arranged but we decided to stay land based. The unfortunate bombings of earlier this year has decimated the Sri Lankan economy and to see them welcoming & appreciating the return of tourists is an uplifting experience. Neel took us to the church which had the single biggest loss of life, 122 people. It shows the people are moving on but not forgetting what has happened. Negombo and surrounds are full of life & having Neel guide us around ensured we got the most out of the day. I'd highly recommend Neel, Sri Shannon Tours & Sri Lanka in general to anyone thinking about going there.We enjoyed an informative day tour with Neele from Sri Shannon Tours. We enjoyed an informative day tour with Neele from Sri Shannon Tours. He happily accommodated our needs and tailored the tour to suit us. We had requested a boat ride through the mangroves/canals and had lots of fun. The boat driver showed us the wildlife and native plants, and whenever we wanted to take photos he was manoeuvred the boat into the best position for our pics.
