Overview

I was born and brought up in Edinburgh and am passionate about locally produced food - I made a 16-series TV programme about eating and cycling in Scotland, called The Woman Who Ate Scotland. I want the tour to be like a food-loving friend is taking you to their favourite places.

This was a fantastic morning. We discovered the delights of Scottish cuisine; porridge, fish, cheese, marshmallows and scones. The tour was although within the New Town and we were fully educated on the history! No need for lunch afterwards,

What a great tour - thanks Nell. Very tasty, fun and really interesting even for us Edinburgh locals. Looking forward to doing the Leith tour later this summer.

We got to explore an area of Edinburgh we otherwise might have missed. Nell felt like an old friend, and I highly recommend this tour. It was Sunday...

Nell was very nice and had great knowledge of the city and its local cuisine! She guided theough and city where we gained a lot of knowledge of its architecture and history. We were very impressed. With 6 stops and extra cheese to take home it was more than worth it! Would definitely reccomend

Our guide Nell made this a fun experience. We discovered interesting little eateries that we would never have found ourselves but would certainly return to and recommend to others. We were well fed and very well looked after.
