Africa Flash McTours took care of us from A to Z. Peter made sure we have everything we need from the time we arrived until the end of our trip. John did such a great job showing us spots and explaining everything as we were doing the game ride and above all answered all of our questions. If you want a well organized private Safari tour it's here. Hotels, tours and excursions, guide and the jeep was very comfortable. I rate this 10 out of 10. Thanks a lot Peter and John !!We booked a 6-day safari with ‘Africa Flash McTours’ to the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli and email communication with Peter (company director) was prompt and straightforward. We booked a 6-day safari with ‘Africa Flash McTours’ to the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli and email communication with Peter (company director) was prompt and straightforward. The whole experience was superb: very professional, competitively priced; a comfortable 4-wheel drive vehicle; highly knowledgeable and skilled driver (John); wonderful luxury accommodation within the game parks and many opportunities to see the ‘Big Five’ as well as a fantastic range of birds and other wildlife. The schedule was realistic and, although there was a lot of driving, we loved seeing Kenya’s varied landscapes, peoples and culture as we drove between areas. John (our driver/guide) was amazing: friendly and easy to be with; an excellent driver across all terrains, well qualified with an extensive knowledge of wildlife and their habits; considerate of our safety and comfort throughout trip; responsive to our questions and interests. We cannot recommend ‘Africa Flash McTours’ too highly.I had a work-related trip to Kenya and decided to take this opportunity to go on a safari. I had a work-related trip to Kenya and decided to take this opportunity to go on a safari. I searched for tour companies online, and finally decided to go with Africa Flash McTours. I have to admit I was a bit nervous - this was my first trip to Kenya, and I was traveling alone. It was an amazing experience! My flights changed and I had an extra day in Nairobi, and Peter made arrangements for me to have a driver ($60 for the day). I went to the elephant orphanage at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the giraffe center, and the Maasai market. I selected the 6-day tour. Maasai Mara was amazing - I saw a group of cheetah withing a half hour of entering the park! My driver, Patrick, was an excellent driver, knowledgeable about wildlife and the park. We had had some heavy rains for a couple of days, and I saw several other vehicles getting stuck. Patrick was able to navigate the vehicle through the park without getting stuck, but making sure I had excellent viewing opportunities. Lake Nakuru was amazing - I saw 2 male lions right on the road! And of course, flamingos, rhinos and a host of other species. Finally I spent a couple of days in Amboseli. I highly recommend Africa Flash McTours. The accommodations were great, and everything had been arranged so I could enjoy the experience and focus on the wildlife.I booked this trip as a solo traveler, so I asked to join a group tour but I did not know that group tours are not operated by Africa Flash MC and that you will join a group from another partner company. I booked this trip as a solo traveler, so I asked to join a group tour but I did not know that group tours are not operated by Africa Flash MC and that you will join a group from another partner company. I did the first two days Masai Mara with a group from another company but stayed in different accommodation than the others (better one). For the rest of the trip I was picked up somewhere on the route by Africa Flash MC driver/guide Antony and continued alone with him to Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. I did not know at that time that I would do the rest of the trip alone but it proved much better and I could see the difference between the two companies already. Now I am thinking that I would probably not mind doing the whole trip solo with my guide only. Antony proved to be great company and a very good and knowledgeable guide and driver. There were some issues with some accommodation bookings/payments and I had to pay a small amount in one camp but Peter met me in person at the end of the trip and refunded me in cash. Also there was a last minute accommodation change at a camp in Lake Nakuru and I had to stay in a hotel instead. Since I booked this safari last minute, 10 days before its start date, I guess such small issues were to be expected and I can't complain or blame Peter for this. Overall I would recommend booking a safari with Africa Flash MC, Peter is great at communication and responds very quickly. The whole trip was an amazing experience especially if you like beautiful landscapes, animals and seeing other cultures. Our experience with Africa Flash MC was incredible. My husband and I did the 6 days Best of Kenya Luxury Safari last month. Starting off, Peter was incredibly responsive to my (many, many) emails when booking. It was reassuring to know we had a resource when planning the trip and he answered all kinds of questions – from safari questions to visa questions. One setback was that our originally scheduled driver did not report to work on the first day of our safari. This was certainly not something that we expected and my husband and I were worried initially that we would miss a day or two of safari. However, Peter handled the situation the best he could. He arranged for us to join another safari group for a day and then that safari driver (Anthony) took us on the remainder of our safari. We did our safari backwards (we were supposed to start in the Mara and instead we ended in the Mara) but this did not bother us in the least. I think issues happen and what matters is how a person reacts to them – and Peter reacted the best that he could. He made sure we were able to do all days/stops on our safari. The Safari was amazing. We lucked out having Anthony as a driver. I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed him. He was knowledgeable, very nice, and worked hard to make sure we saw things at the top of our list. In the Mara we had two requests – we wanted to see wildebeest/zebra crossing the Mara and we wanted to see a cheetah. Anthony made sure we were front row for both events (there are tons of tour cars in the Mara and sometimes luck just puts you in the back of the line, but Anthony made sure we were front row for the things we really wanted to see). Also, Anthony worked hard to make sure we saw many, many cheetahs in the Mara. I would 100 percent recommend Anthony – we will definitely request him again if we are ever lucky enough to go back! The safari itinerary was lovely. It was great to see three different ecosystems (Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and the Mara). If I could do it again, I would try to request two nights at Lake Nakuru and make it a six night safari. As is, spending only one night at Lake Nakuru feels rushed. We are glad that we went (we saw rhinos and a leopard at Lake Nakuru and did not see these animals elsewhere), but it would have been nice to spend a bit more time there. The Sarova Lion Hill Lodge seemed nice, but we were not there long enough to explore. Amboseli was my favorite park – seeing 50 plus elephants in front of Mt. Kilimanjaro was magical. The Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge was great. We enjoyed being able to have drinks outside while watching herds of animals graze from the outdoor dining area. The Mara was also wonderful, and was my husband’s favorite park. We saw countless predators, giraffes, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, etc. We were unable to stay at the initially scheduled Ashnil Mara Camp (since our safari was rearranged slightly) and instead we stayed at Entumoto Safari camp. I have mixed feelings about this camp. Everyone working at the camp was great and the tents were some of the more beautiful accommodations that I have stayed at. On the other hand, I was really looking forward to the bush dinner and the bush dinner at Entumoto was lacking (the actual bush dinner set up is not anything like the photo used on their website). They set up after the sun went down (so we were unable to sit and watch the sunset) and they only set up one lantern (not multiple, as used in the photo). Our regular dinner in the lodge was more enjoyable than the bush dinner. Overall this was a wonderful safari and the trip of a lifetime. We definitely were in good hands with Peter and Anthony. We saw tons of animals (the big five plus countless others) and also felt very safe. We would recommend this safari to others – especially Anthony as a driver!
