Ruthie & Stephen were wonderful hosts for our ride on the Brazos. We have no experience riding and they made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The ride was beautiful and fun. Dodger and Chief were definitely the perfect choice for my husband and I. At the end Ruthie gave us several photos she took on our ride (no charge!) If we happen to get back we will do this again. Don't miss out on this fun activity!

We had an amazing experience! I would highly recommend this company. I went with my family and we had minimal horse back riding experience. They taught us how to do it and were friendly and helpful along the way. The horses were wonderful and the scenery was breathtaking! Mike and Ruthie were our guides and they were wonderful people. The guides will take photos for you and send them to you after the ride. Definitely purshase this outing if you are vacationing, because you'll get a true Texas expereince!

Our two guides were delightful. We had a lovely sunny day riding through meadows and woods. The view at the top of the ridge over the river and beyond was splendid.

I booked a horseback ride with Brazos Bluffs Ranch and it was the time of my life. Thank you Lem, Ruthie, Luke, Maddie, Stephen (hope I spelled that right) and Ruben for taking care of us. I got to see the total solar eclipse on my trail ride and enjoy a Texas bbq while watching the shadow band come over the beautiful Brazos River Valley from a high bluff above the Brazos River. It was magnificent. These folks at Brazos Bluffs will go out of their way to make your highest aspirations for your trail ride a dream come true. From an equestrian perspective, this is a top notch trail riding outfit that emphasizes safety as well as having fun. There was a couple from North Carolina and a group of four from Los Angeles. For our party of seven, we had three experienced wranglers accompanying us. The horses are well kept and very healthy. You can tell this is an outfit that treats its animals ethically. They carefully selected the horses to match our ability (from beginners to people who haven't ridden for decades and others who have some experience) and then they had us ride around in the arena before taking to the trail to ensure we could handle our mounts. We were lucky because everything was in bloom. The Bluebonnets, the Indian Paintrushes and the Bastard Cabbage (yellow) were all in colorful dress. The ranch itself is immaculate and exceptionally well kept. They also had an outstanding catered BBQ affair. I can't give enough stars to these folks in their review. You definitely will get bang for your buck and the professionalism and hospitality extended to you is unmatched. I would heartily recommend this place. If you want to do a trail ride in the Waco area, this is the place. Thank you again Lem and Ruthie. Much appreciated.

Tour guides were great! They made sure everyone was safe and comfortable on the horse. They went the extra mile and took candid photos along the route which was a great souvenir! Definitely a must if you are in Waco.

The trails through the country side were really scenic, the tour guides were super friendly and took plenty of photos for us. Horses behaved amazing and it was great for all people regardless of horseback riding experience. Definitely plan to do it again.

Fantastic place! The horses were all happy, healthy, and relaxed. The one I rode was such a sweet gelding. The guides were professional and knowledgeable. The trail they took us on was so beautiful. I highly recommend and will definitely go again if back in the area.

Best trail ride we’ve ever been on. Ruthie gave detailed instructions and riding tips prior to our start. Maddy was very friendly and provided a lot of details about the ranch and surrounding area. Perfect riding time for occasional riders. We’d recommend for riders of all age and experience level.

We had such an amazing time on the ride with Ruthie, Parks, and our horses. A nice leisurely ride. I had some experience riding but not much and my boyfriend had none. We felt safe and in good hands, even when our horses got a little spooked. Ruthie and Parks were very attentive to our whole group and their confidence rubbed off on everyone. Beautiful place. My son and I had a great experience! Ruthie and Mattie were very knowledgable and patient with our group, some of whom were riding for the first time. They learned each of our names, which really impressed me. The views were beautiful and they made sure each of us went home with pictures of our adventure. Highly recommend!

Our Family LOVED the trails, the horses and staff at Brazos Bluff Ranch! Simply the best! We loved it so much we rode twice in our short trip to Waco! We will have these memories forever!
