The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.

Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution, We arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and after lunch we will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day’s safari tour. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. My husband and I just returned from our first safari adventure and absolutely LOVED every second of it! We spent 7 days on safari in Tanzania (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Central and North Serengeti) plus 3 days in Zanzibar. Safari Infinity was recommended to me by my brother and sister in law and I am thrilled we chose them as our tour operators. Right from the start, Lisa was great in helping us plan our itinerary. She was so prompt with her responses, thoughtful in her recommendations, and gave us piece of mind that everything was organized and taken care of and all we had to do was get excited for our trip! Mona, our guide throughout the whole week, was fantastic! He was very professional and incredibly knowledgeable about the area, the culture, and especially the animals. He took us to all the best spots in each park and we saw an insane amount of different species of animal. His passion about wildlife conservation is also very evident in the way he speaks about every animal we encounter and he gave us a lot more insight into the different challenges they face, which made our game drives that much more special. Oh yes, and they also planned the most INCREDIBLE wedding ceremony for us!! Safari Infinity and the staff at Nyumbani organized a traditional Masai ceremony, in the middle of the Serengeti, complete with outfits and warriors and dancing and singing and all the animals watching! They basically made our dreams come true and it was SO MUCH FUN. We don't have enough words to describe just how much it meant to us, and how we will cherish those memories forever. From start to finish, our entire trip was absolutely seamless and the most enjoyable experience. It was our first safari trip, but it certainly won't be our last, and I wouldn't consider any other company but Safari Infinity. Thank you for everything! :)We can heartily recommend Safari Infinity as the provider for a safari in Tanzania. We can heartily recommend Safari Infinity as the provider for a safari in Tanzania. Right from the outset, the abundance and variety of wildlife we saw was staggering, and our guide/driver, Monah, having often spotted distant wildlife at first invisible to us, seemed to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the various animal and bird species we encountered. There was not a single bird species he could not identify, sometimes with the help of his voluminous field guide. Monah was punctual, drove very well, and knew all the tracks likely to provide interesting viewings. Also had a good sense of humour. As it happened, in addition to seeing hundreds of zebra, lions, elephants and antelope, my wife and I encountered rafts of hippos, two separate sightings of the June Wildebeest migration, and several lions in trees. Probably one of our best holidays ever, captured on amazing photos and videos Augustine Lee and my wife planned the whole tour brilliantly. Thank you Safari Infinity! If I could reassure everyone trying to find the "right" safari tour company, look no further than Safari Infinity. If I could reassure everyone trying to find the "right" safari tour company, look no further than Safari Infinity. I did a lot of research on various companies about 1 year before our trip and am so happy to have booked with Safari Infinity -- absolutely no regrets. It's difficult to trust a tour company given how much money is involved, but truly this company is worthy of your trust. You will be well cared for and the money is worth it. Here are other wonderful things: - Lucia is a gem to work with -- extremely patient and quick about answering questions. When there is an issue, she is quick to resolve them. She also has an eye for beautiful things as Nyumbani Camp is decorated so well and with such thought as to use lots of recyclable items. As you visit Nyumbani and see the types of people she hires, you will understand that she also knows how to pick the best people to work for her. Not only was our guide, Monah, a genuinely kind soul and master at finding animals (more on Monah later), the people at Nyumbani Camp such as Goodlove, Hamani and the Masai warrior, Akipara, were just humble and lovely people. There is a true feeling of family there. When we left, the whole team came out to wave goodbye to us -- it left me speechless. Lucia also picked out other great accommodations for us. Just when we were wowed and totally impressed, we were wowed again by the next accommodations. She really knows the properties well. - We were so sad to leave Monah at the end of our tour. I've never been part of a tour where I actually felt a strong desire to write a letter to the guide expressing my gratitude. For Monah, I wrote a two-page letter. Monah is a kind, honest, soft-spoken man who is so genuine at his core. He really listens to the questions being asked and you can tell that he puts thoughts into his responses. He goes out of his way to try to help you see what you'd want to see, never rushing us and always trying to help us see from the best vantage point. He is also realistic, never promising anything he cannot deliver. Some of the highlights of what we saw are a lion mating, 4 feeds, 4 river crossings with a spectacular one at site #4, close-ups of lion feeds, lionesses and cubs sleeping, leopard and her cub and a cheetah. - The VIP service at Kilimajaro Airport really is VIP. There is someone waiting for you as walk into the airport from the tarmac to help you with the forms and obtaining a visa. We waited only a fraction of the time compared to everyone else. It left me with a very reassuring feeling that this company really has its act together. - The vehicles are well-equipped and even luxurious as far as safari vehicles go. There are sockets to charge batteries and phones and a cooler filled with cold beers, sodas, water, and juices. Another container contained wine. There were many local snacks to munch on. Binoculars were plentiful as well as beanbags to stabilize the camera. - The welcoming gifts are surprisingly useful. Usually, when we are given travel gifts, they are junk and simply get thrown out. However, I can honestly say that we used every single gift item. I think these simple gifts speak volumes about Lucia's thoughtfulness. In summary, there is a reason why this company has only had 5-star reviews. It is WELL-deserved on so many levels. Next time we plan to go to Tanzania, I hope to book with Safari Infinity and see Monah again.Everything from beginning to end was perfect! Everything from beginning to end was perfect! We were in Tanzania for a total of 12 nights and the planning from Safari Infinity included a variety of game drives, relaxation, and exploring - which was exactly what we wanted. Thanks to their flawless planning, we were able to enjoy the trip fully as soon as we got off the plane. Truly not a single dull moment and we were definitely very very well-fed (ps. they were able to accommodate my husband and my vegan diet which we were ecstatic about!) And of course, our tour guides Mona and Thomson were absolutely amazing! They are both extremely knowledgable, patient and kind. My mom is obsessed with photographing birds and Mona would point out new species all the time for her and would ensure she had the perfect shot before continuing the tour. It's the little things that this company does so well that makes them stand out. We are already looking forward to booking another trip in the near future with my in laws!Safari Infinity is the kind of boutique style of operators that proves you don’t necessarily have to get assurance from big brands. Safari Infinity is the kind of boutique style of operators that proves you don’t necessarily have to get assurance from big brands. We originally booked our honeymoon trip back in 2021, but thanks to covid plan got postponed… We re-engaged with Augustine early this year to reconvene our trip planning and he was very detailed with every single step and that made the entire itinerary planning stressless! Lots of practical advice given, speedy response even while we’re in Tanzania! We can’t be more thankful with this superb attendance to us. On the ground we have Monah as our safari guide - a big shout out to our lucky star he made our trip more than perfect! Profound knowledge and experience on wildlife species and behaviour, we also learned a lot about Masaai culture from a genuine Masaai himself! He’s also far from just a guide - he’s more like a friend who takes you around his homeland, knowing whereabouts of lion pride, rhinos, takes you routes where you can stay away from the crowd and have the nature all to yourselves! With his expertise we bring home with unforgettable memories and felt so proud telling people about our sightings - big 5 animals all checked, 3 thrilling hunts, 2 kills, 2 river crossings in 11 days can you imagine!!! Another plus to call out to the team is they are very caring and thoughtful about helping you with navigating through covid related complexities - we had a bit of trouble on pcr tests but that got sorted out very quickly so we are more than thankful for the team doing their every best to ensure we focus on enjoying our trip and not distracted from hassles. As for the rest - not gonna repeat what the other reviews have mentioned, but can definitely affirm we share the same thoughts as well!! If we would come back one day we will definitely book our trip with the team again!I'm a bit late in writing, but we completed a Safari for our honeymoon with Safari Infinity in June of 2022. I'm a bit late in writing, but we completed a Safari for our honeymoon with Safari Infinity in June of 2022. No hyperbole when I say this - it was perfect for us. It could not have gone any better. Planning a safari is HEAVY work if you want to do it right. I came across Safari Infinity in the TripAdvisor forums, and started researching them. I contacted them, along with a few others, and ultimately decided to book. It's a local company, so in my opinion they can do better on pricing than the larger, international "booking companies" that, secret info, might contract out to local companies anyway for the guiding. Why not book at the source? For planning, I worked with Lucia directly, one of the two owner-founders (it's a husband and wife team). She was super patient and detailed, and also made some changes to my suggested itinerary based on lodging choices she found to be better options (Serena Zanzibar to Park Hyatt Stone Town being one - and she nailed that. That hotel is incredible for a stop to recharge). I'm someone that does a LOT of research (I run a travel-review/article website) and ask questions - you should be if you're going to invest this kind of money into a trip. Her answers always came back within a day if not sooner and were always super detailed. As for a guide, we had Claude from their team and he was absolutely perfect for us. I have to imagine a company that employs guides with many years experience has an entire team that's great, and other reviews can speak to that. But for us, Claude was the man. He's professional, extremely knowledgeable, and just the right kind of reserved. What I mean by that is he's very good at knowing when you and your party might just want some quiet, etc. My wife and I loved chatting with him, but it's just in our nature to sometimes chill out as well and observe our surroundings. He was great at recognizing that. The best part of all my questions, and I have never been on other safaris, but he always kind of went deeper and gave us the "why" or the reasoning behind something. I felt like I was learning more about what I asked, rather than just learning a fact, if that makes sense. As someone that is information hungry, I loved that. More so we enjoyed our lunches and the dinner we had with Claude as he's a curious guy, and myself being American and my wife being Chinese-born, I think he asked a lot of good questions to get to know us. Curious but polite - he was just kind of a good dude. So thanks to Claude for his part in our trip. If you get him, poa poa, you'll be fine. From a schedule perspective, everything went off without a hitch. Wasn't a single mechanical or booking problem. We booked higher standard places to stay, though not the HIGHEST standard. All met expectations or exceeded, and we had no complaints. Tanzania has the same kinds of challenges you might see in-country as any other developing nation. But I've been to 35 different countries now in my life and I am not sure I've been met with more genuine warmth and higher level from a service perspective anywhere I've been. There was nothing fake about it. Never an attitude at all. We weren't shocked because we expected bad service, we were shocked by just how good they were. It's kind of above and beyond and everyone takes pride in their operations (lodges and camps and such) and how their guests perceive them. Again, it's all very genuine and that shines through. So if you've made it this far, I have nothing but compliments for Safari Infinity and our trip, their guide, and their professionalism. This was a trip we kept referring to as once in a lifetime, but before it was over we kind of felt like maybe it was a twice in a life time trip and good for a 15th anniversary. We know who we'll be reaching out to then :) Give them a shot, tell them your budget, and go from there. They can help on all levels and know how to get your trip planned. Thanks Lucia, Claude and anyone else that helped on the backend!
