Misael was prompt with his responses and picking timing. He speaks minimal English but this can be accommodated for using a translate app. For weather reasons, the balloon company (Skyballoons.mx) did not let us depart on time so we were behind schedule approx an hour. Miseal recognized this and made sure we were up to date on the situation. Upon ascension, he followed us with his car to ensure we did not lose any more time returning back to base camp so that was appreciated. The breakfast restaraunt he took us to after was lovely traditional Mexican food. The chilquiles were filling and the overall atmosphere was quaint and relaxing. The mezcal tour was interesting and fun. The mezcal expert has good English and explained to us the origins of mezcal. We tried about 5-6 different types total. My only grievance with this section was there was a bit of a push to buy souvenirs — pretty typical of some tours. Finally, the Teotihuacan tour was led by an expert that spoke decent English with a slight accent. The tour guide was inquisitive on his performance and experience and was also very knowledgeable about the subject. He offered to take photos for us against the sights so that was appreciated. Overall, considering how last minute I booked this package, Misael was very accommodating. He’s a hardworking family man simply doing his best. I would book him in future for Xochilmico or Barbacoa tours. This tour is worth every penny, and exceeded our expectations! This tour is worth every penny, and exceeded our expectations! The team was great, Ivan (guide) was incredibly knowledgeable about the pyramids. Breakfast was hosted in a beautiful room with traditional food and lovely decorations. Apart from the balloon, a highlight for us was the Alovera tour, including the tastings. Super passionate guide! They even met us a day after the tour because we left some things in the car. Only feedback point is we felt rushed occasionally. We understand there is a schedule but this affected the experience a bit.The balloon ride was super cool, lots of photos to remind of the experience and Teotihuacan! Although 8 hours sounds like a lot, you actually start at 5 am and are back at the hotel in CDMX by 1 pm, so you can think of this as a morning activity which leaves the rest of the day free.
