What to expect
After a short lesson about safety and technique, we will leave from Marina Grande di Sorrento on our boards and reach Punta del Capo, where the Roman villa of Pollio Felice stands, dating back to 41 – 54 AD. It is also known as Bagni della Regina Giovanna, famous for the natural heart-shaped pool with emerald green water, which we will access passing through the small opening in the cliff.
Ruins with opus reticulatum, mosaics, and frescoes blend with wild nature. It is an enchanting place where there will be opportunities to take a swim, freely explore the villa, and take many photographs.
We will leisurely return to Marina Grande to finish the paddle boarding experience.

One of the best days out I have had in Sorrento. Me and my partner booked for a 2 hour tour which took us to the ancient ruins and baths. Our tour guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and gave us information at each view point/stop. He also gave us tips throughout about basic paddle boarding skills and what we were doing. We got to stop at the Roman baths for 20mins and have a lovely swim before heading back and seeing more caves back at the marina. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone, great views, great workout, great guide and great day out. (He also took some amazing pics of us out at sea which were sent as soon as we got back so no need to worry about taking your phone)We had a really interesting and enjoyable trip along the Sorrento coast to the fantastic Bagni Regina Giovanna. I was unsure about spending the money since we’ve rented paddle boards for much less before, but I’m SO glad we did, it was 100% worth it, and the highlight of our trip so far, we highly recommend it!!
