This was a WONDERFUL Tour. Seda was very smart and personable. She understood the importance of the Virgin Mary’s home to both Christian and Muslim faiths. The ruins of Ephesus are unbelievably expansive, yet only 15% have been uncovered. Seda gave us such an informative tour, with great insight into the lives of Roman’s and Greeks. Finally, the museum of silk and rug making (a dying art) was amazing. Seda chose a great lunch spot to top off a perfect day. I highly recommend this tour!

His knowledge of the subject matter is impeccable as well as his communication skills. He went out of his way to ensure that we received all pertinent information about each location. We had an amazing day with Ayse on our historical tour of Kusadasi. Ayse knew the answer to every question as we learned so much about the history and religions that make Kusadasi a magnificent city. Ayse sprinkled in Apple Tea, Turkish ice cream,, Turkish coffee throughout the day. A lunch that introduced us to the authentic Turkish foods made the day complete. Ayse was an amazing, authentic, and friendly guide - one of the best we have ever experienced!

Our guide, Seda, was excellent. Warm and friendly, very knowledgable, and good company. She responded well to our requests and we were able to tailor our tour to our needs. Our transport was a very comfortable, air-conditioned small minibus and the lunch was fabulous and very reasonably priced. Lunch was followed by a carpet demonstration, and although it felt a bit awkward, because we weren’t really interested in buying a carpet, it was actually quite interesting.

Our guide Lori was amazing! She was knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us so much history of Ephesus and Turkey and allowed us to Taylor the day how we wanted. Our van was comfortable and clean as well.

We really enjoyed our tour with Steve. Both Steve and our driver were very accommodating to our needs. Ephasus was beyond what I expected to see. Appreciated Steve’s synopsis of what we were seeing and his explanations of what life would have looked like in the prime of the city. I do wish we could have gotten more of the biblical history as well, but that’s more on me for not choosing a Bible based tour. The place we stopped for lunch was soooo good. We were fascinated by the skilled carpet makers. As others have said, it is an opportunity for them to try to sell you a Turkish rug, however, if you just aren’t interested tell them and they will not push a lot. St John’s Basilica again would have been more informative with a Bible based tour but we did enjoy the basic history and Steve’s personal stories of growing up in the area. The handmade porcelains were stunning and it was very interesting to learn about the moon rock they paint with. Again, it’s an opportunity for a sales pitch, but a polite decline and we were on our way. Overall we were very pleased with our tour.

From start to finish the tour was excellent. Identification at the port was great, pick up immediate.Vehicle immaculate. Our guide ,Ecrument and Filiz the driver were superb.Ecrument was clear,informative and interesting.Nothing was too much trouble.His English was excellent and his knowledge extensive. Our trip to Ephesus was memorable and he did not rush us. A definite success . We always felt safe and comfortable with Filiz driving

We had a wonderful day with our guide Metin at Ephesus Port Tours today. The communication before the tour was excellent. We were met at the port with a sign with our group name and off we went in a large and comfortable van. Metin was born and raised in Ephesus area and had amazing insight and history. We saw the House of the. Virgin Mary, ancient Ephesus, and the Temple of Artemis. Metin even gave us a guided, walking tour through ancient Ephesus stopping along the way to show us the various buildings and explain what they were once used for. He was very considerate that one in our group needed to go at a slower pace and allowed plenty of time to walk through each site. We had a delicious Turkish lunch in the afternoon as well as stops at a local pottery shop, Turkish rug making and even a fashion show at the leather shop. The group was so happy with our tour and we would highly recommend using Metin and this tour company when stopping in Kusadasi on your cruise vacation.

We booked this via Viator as the private tour excursions booked with the cruise company were very expensive. The communication from the point of booking has been outstanding. Everything was explained clearly and any additional costs (entry tickets) were highlighted. We had our guide arrange the tickets in advance and paid him in cash at the end of the tour. The price is the same as the ticket booth with no mark up or admin fee. On arrival at the port our guide Ahmet was waiting for us and escorted us to our transport which was an immaculate Mercedes people carrier. Ahmet our guide was simply brilliant. He spoke perfect English, had a great character, very personable and was extremely knowledgeable. He asked us what we wanted to do and more importantly, anything we particularly did not want to do and tailored our day according. There was absolutely no attempt to visit any carpet workshops or other retail establishments ! We really cannot recommend Ahmet highly enough and would ask for him again if we came back.

The day was so much more than we expected! Our guide really catered to our needs. Even when we needed to take a side trip to address an emergent issue, Mustafa (Steve) Tanritanir, our guide was happy to accommodate. The Ephasus tour was just jaw dropping. Steve took great care to help us navigate the area as well inform us of the history and culture. The lunch was the BEST experience, the food was delicious, the environment was delightful, and the woman demonstrating the carpets they make were fascinating. This tour has been the highlight of our two week trip.

Ozge was an amazing tour guide! She was so knowledgeable on history and shared many facts with us that enriched our experience. We enjoyed a delicious Turkish lunch that we will not ever forget.
