The Victoria Falls BAMBA Tram offers a unique Gourmet Dinner in the African Bush. The Tram leaves from Victoria Falls town and travels a rail line 45 minutes into the Bush where a Dinner Table is set. There a local Chef cooks and serves an excellent Gourmet Dinner as the African Sun sets. Our Group of 6 Americans traveling off a Cruise Ship were joined by 2 others from Connecticut so that we had the 8 minimum for the BAMBA Tram Dinner. A variety of wines and spirits were available and the Dinner was excellent! Boo at Victoria Falls Guide recommended this excellent Tour and we are very pleased with her suggestion.Took the morning trip on the Bamba Tram. Took the morning trip on the Bamba Tram. Our guide and driver were very friendly and helped point out the game en route to the bridge. We only saw bushbuck and monkeys but that is just the luck of the draw. Crossed the bridge onto the Zambian side and had a view of the gorge / bridge from that side (saw somebody bungee jumping from the bridge) plus a quick tour of the museum. Would have liked more time in the museum but appreciate that time is of the essence as they have to fit in the with the scheduled train timetable. Stopped on the bridge on the way back for refreshments and home made cookies plus an excellent photo opportunity. Borders between Zambia and Zimbabwe are marked on the bridge with a gap between the two countries where you can have your photograph taken in the middle of nowhere. Would recommend to everyone visiting the Falls. We did the sunset tram one afternoon, was nice to see the bush from the tram and you might get to see animals. Something different to do. We did the sunset tram one afternoon, was nice to see the bush from the tram and you might get to see animals. Something different to do. Staff were very nice we had Moses as the drive and Muku as the guide. We also did the sunrise over the Vic Falls bridge, this was amazing! A lot of history about the bridge and then the magnificent sunrise over the falls. Breathtaking. Walked to the Zambia side and also had a view from the falls and bridge. And bonus we also got to see some wild animals. Definitely a must do!This was the perfect way to begin our Victoria Falls experience. The sunrise through the spray was just beautiful and we really enjoyed the historical snippets shared by the host and also the museum.

We went on the Bamba Tram on the advice of a friend who lived locally, and she described the Tram ride as a "must do". I emailed the team, whilst still in London, and was promptly responded to by Lauren 1 week before my arrival to Victoria Falls. As we arrived the night before, I asked for directions from the hotel and finding the Tram was very easy and there was nearby parking (we hired our own car). We opted for the Sunrise Tour which was just phenomenal. We were met by the most lovely team, Muku and Bradley(who we all rated really highly) and our tram driver. Muku and Bradley immediately gelled with my two sons (8 and 10 years old) and were able to captivate them with the history of the Tram. We made our way along the tram, went into Zambia and stopped on the bridge for a lovely cup of coffee, watching the sun rise over of the Great Victoria Falls. The power and force of the falls roared in the background and everyone got the morning sprays of the might Falls. It was such a beautiful and memorable experience that I will struggle to beat that for my children!!! The team were very knowledgeable about the history of the tram - as well as the centipedes that caught my sons' attention!!. I would easily say that this is a must do. Certainly the Sunrise Tour is worth its weight in gold and I will remember it for as long as mu brain cells continue to function!! Well done team.We went on the sunrise trip onto the bridge and what a wonderful experience it was! It was so peaceful and quiet to see the Falls as the sun came up with a lovely cup of hot coffee. We went on the sunrise trip onto the bridge and what a wonderful experience it was! It was so peaceful and quiet to see the Falls as the sun came up with a lovely cup of hot coffee. The tram itself is so lovely and very comfortable giving a great view of the surroundings. The little museum was so interesting and we were taken to excellent viewing sites for photos of the bridge. I have been to Vic Falls many times and this is one of the best things I have ever done. It is a fairly new venture which deserves a lot of support.
