One if the most wonderful experience I had with algeria tours and will definitely recommend their service for smooth travel experience. The best thing is their hospitality throughout the tour.

Wassim and his wife were top on the sevice provided. Very helpful and informative. We started at the Casbah where , without them, we would have got lost. Their insights were fascinating as well as their English and their knowledge of architecture and local culture. We continued then to visit the Notre Dame cathedral with amazing viewś in and out. Then we had a great lunch at a local place, very original sharing the table with locals and having great food :) After lunch a very well deserved walk in the Hamma Botanical Gardens and ending up at the Martyrs Memorial were we visited the local musuem full of interesting facts about Algeria´s way to independence and freedom. Definitely worth taking the tour to get the best of Algiers in one day !My husband and i only had a few hours to see Algiers and Algieratours16 Tours was able to give us the feel and the taste of this fabulous city. If you are a country collector then you may know that the elusive Algerian visa in one of the toughest parts of visiting Africa's largest country. I had attempted it before to no avail but then I was forwarded Wassim's number at Algeria Tours 16. Within about a week, we received our invitation letter, and shortly after our visa and were ready to go. As our time was short, I was picked up by my guide and driver and taken on the Best of Algiers Tour. The starting spot was perfect, the Basilique Notre Dame d'Afrique, not just the cathedral itself, but the panoramic views it gave of the city were fantastic and gave a nice aerial preview of what we were about to see later in the day. We then took and extensive wander through the winding roads of the city’s distinctive casbah. We explored many little nooks and crannies and our guide Huda was extremely knowledgeable and informative about all the various little sites. Highlights included a visit of the Pasha’s house and a wonderful panoramic view from a local house rooftop. The one downfall of booking your whole vacation through Algeria Tours 16 is normally I lose a lot of weight while travelling, but this was hard to do as we were so well fed. It wasn’t just the scrumptious hotel breakfast buffet and delicious filling local lunch we were treated to, but it was also the little snacks we had on our way as our guide bought us street food treat after treat. We then got a nice stroll though the botanical gardens before ending with the fascinating museum of the Martyr’s Monument, located exactly on the other side of the city as where we started thus making it a very comprehensive east-center-west sweep of the city. If you have only a day in Algiers, I’d highly recommend the Best of Algiers Tour by Tour 16!This was the third of my tours with Algeria Tours 16 and it was just as good as the other ones (namely, Cherchell/Tipasa, and Constantine). This was the third of my tours with Algeria Tours 16 and it was just as good as the other ones (namely, Cherchell/Tipasa, and Constantine). I'd definitely recommend it! The main focus of the tour was the iconic Casbah area of the city, which Houda knew like the back of her hand - taking me to and explaining about all manner of the history of the place. Along the way we stopped off at a couple of little places for delicious street food / snacks, including the must-try Garantita! The tour was primarily walking based, but we started at the top of the Casbah and all of the walk was downhill, so no worries there. We also visited both the Dar Mustapha Pacha and the Basilique Notre Dame d'Afrique (which is VERY impressive, both inside and out!) - the latter by taxi. I was picked up from the hotel and the taxis, entrance fees and food were all included in the price. The combination of local knowledge, a history lesson, her friendly manner and knowing some good hidden spots to get the best phots made Houda a great guide too. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this tour!My friend and I could have not made a better choice than choosing Algeria Tours to explore the city. My friend and I could have not made a better choice than choosing Algeria Tours to explore the city. Thanks to Houda’s vivid descriptions, vast knowledge about the history, culture and architecture of the city, and the strategic points from where to explore or appreciate the city, we got a very comprehensive picture of Algiers and managed to feel or experience a glimpse of the life in the past and the life in the modern Algiers. We are indeed thankful to Algeria tours for the organized tour around the capital city. Warmly recommended
