What to expect
PADI OWD course takes 3, 5 full days. It consists of digital theory and confined water dives and 4 open water dives in the sea. The training dives are performed from shore at our two beautiful house reefs Far Garden and Temple.
Day 1 : transfer your hotel to one of our dive centers, closest to your location. The transfer time depends on location of your hotel, usually it is set about 1-1, 5 hour before 14:30 pm. After arrival to the dive club, you will do the registration and documents completion, meet your instructor and start with first Pool session and solving digitally the theory session.
Day 2-3 : 8:30 am start the Open water dive in the sea. At 10:00 Movie, at 14:30 pool session and 16:30 a quiz.
Day 4: at 8:30 and 12:30 you will perform 2 last Open water dives. Congratulations, you've become PADI Open Water Diver!

- Not recommended for participants with back problems, heart complaints or other serious medical conditions
- Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

- All staff members are educated on symptoms and necessary preventive measures related to COVID-19.

Really enjoying the course and the teaching by Ahmed is great but I wish somebody told me about doing the theory before my arriving. I am now having to do it on holiday which is rushed and I am not able to take it all in with time.

My adult children and I did our PADI open water course with the Reef Oasis Dive Club in Sharm. We stayed at the Reef Oasis Hotel. This was a fantastic location on the Temple reef with amazing diving, the dive club was extremely professional, yet with much banter. Mohammed, our trainer, was absolutely brilliant. He adapted the pace to what he felt we could do, so we could do some of the confined water exercises more quickly, allowing more time to be spent with my wife. I am 59 and large, so was a bit apprehensive beforehand, but Mohammed looked after us extremely well, helping and reassuring where necessary, and we all had an amazing time. We will be back!My husband and I took the open water certification course with Moustafa as our instructor. It was an excellent experience. Moustafa was thorough, patient and supportive throughout the training program. We feel that he prepared us well for all aspects of scuba diving.

My boyfriend and I came for a weeks diving holiday. Where I managed to do my Open Water and Open Water Advanced with the dive club and my boyfriend (who was already certified) went on many diving trips. During the training lessons Hossam and Moustafa were very patient and explained everything very well. The dive centre were very organised and there are so many sites to see. They kept us well informed with the different diving opportunities throughout the week and were flexible in adding us to the diving group. Over the course of the week we went to Dahab (The Blue hole and The Canyon), S.S. Thistlegorm and Tiran Island which were amazing and would highly recommend. All of the staff were really friendly and a good laugh. We look forward to coming back soon to do all the sites we didn’t have time for this holiday.A Truly 5* diving experience! A Truly 5* diving experience! A great team at highest level of professionalism at every step, from online booking, through transfers, handling of equipment, instructors and dive masters, to support and food on the boat. Special thanks to Moustafa for the great job with my three kids aged 10, 12 and 15! 🙏 They not only got their OWDs, learnt how to dive confidently (the oldest did 3 dives of 45-50 min with me from the boat the day after the course) but also got completely hooked up on diving in general! 😁 If I come back to Sharm in the future I will certainly dive again with Reef Oasis Dive Club!Amazing experience diving, everyone was friendly and helpful.
