The Eagle's Nest is located in the imposing summit of the Kehlstein mountain. Even to this date not such place has being build. People taking the tour will discover all the history behind its construction, win insight about the role it plays today in society and have the opportunity to explore the incredible landscapes of the Bavarian Alps.

Stop At: Parkplatz Obersalzberg - Dokumentationszentrum, 83471 Berchtesgaden, Germany
This part of the tour is unique because the location is so rich historically, only if you know where to look. We will hike around the area of Obersalzberg, the place where Hitler and many other high ranking officers had their houses. The tour will give an insight of the historical importance of that area, how it was transformed into a nazi town and what decisions where taken there that affected the life of millions.

Claudio is knowledgeable and learned quite a bit about WW2 from him. Would definitely recommend this for those looking for something outside of a boring bus tour.The hike was great! Claudio knew a lot of history and I enjoyed the learning experience. The view was wonderful.

Claudio is a great guide full of passion and information and I couldn't have wished for a better partner to tackle the mountain. Lots of hidden history was found and also some sore knees and feet. Just the best day, thank you Caludio.Despite due the corona outbreak, the busses were not going, but Claudio did! The only way to get to the top of the mounting was by foot. His knowledge about WW2 and the Kehlsteinhaus (eagles nest) was excellent. We really recommand this tour to all of our friends and family. Everybody needs to know the history to make brighter future.This was by far one of the best tours my husband and I have been on! This was by far one of the best tours my husband and I have been on! We did the hiking up to the Eagles Nest as well as the bike ride around Mondsee Lake. We had such an amazing time and Claudio was so passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Salzburg and WWII. We explored the bunkers which was a huge highlight and spoke of all the history. The bike ride was magical around the crystal blue lake. We even stopped at a waterfall which was a nice surprise. The whole time Claudio was very professional, helpful, and so much fun to be around. We would highly recommend any of the two tours we did!
