Leaving between 8:30/9:00 am in a air conditioned vehicle, let's head to the wonderfull and beautiful Douro Valley.
Just before doing the first activity, it's for a coffee break to rest from the long journey and glimpse for the first time the majestic landscape. Your day will start with a wonderfull one hour cruise on Douro River, so relax and enjoy the scenery!
Following, time for lunch, held at the amazing first vineyard. Enjoy a 4 course meal paired with wine form their production in a 17th century property culminating with tastings of their delicious Ports.
Don't miss the chance of visiting yet another wonderfull family sized small production in the last produer, which love from the art burst from his words. Have the chance of tasting their reds, whites paired with honey, bread and olive oil of their own production.

- Please note that you need to inform us of the meeting point you choose. According to the one chosen, pick up may start at 8:30 am.
- We will contact by email the day before the tour, trough the App, with final details regarding meeting point and pick up/meeting hour.
- Parents should bring the baby car seat ajusted to infant's age (1 to 3 years old). We only have seats available after 4 years old.
- This tour has two different options, with or without pick ups. If you choose the option with the meeting point this tour may or may not be done in a minibus or bus. If you choose the pick up option, depending on where you are located, this tour may or may not be done in a minivan.
- This tour may be done in two languages. We try to avoid it, but sometimes we have no other solution.
- Be aware that we need confirmation of every customer regarding the meeting point and pick up hour, when we send the message through the App. If you will not answer through the App, we will try to reach you by phone. Please make sure your number is correct. We normally try WhatsApp first and then we call if we don't have an answer. MAKE SURE YOU CONFIRMED YOUR MEETING POINT AND PICK UP HOUR WITH US BEFORE THE TOUR. Please don't assume that the meeting point it's at 9:00 in Bolsa or Trindade. Make sure you contact us before to know for sure.
- For lunch we provide meet, fish, vegan and vegetarian option.

Paulo is the most attentive guide we had. We also enjoyed the lunch and the port tasting. I would give it a 9 but with Paulo, it is a 10!

The company was a recommendation friend who visited in 2017. And in 2023, it did not disappoint! We both highly recommend this day trip. - Our tour guide, Steve,was a great driver, highly knowledgeable about wine history and all things Portugal. And very funny! - Both vineyard tours were both informative and highly entertaining! I was laughing a lot. I also loved that it was not only port wine tastings, we had various red and white wines we got to try. I purchased a couple bottles to ship home. - Lunch was delicious! Just what we needed after the first round of tastings. - The river boat cruise is your typical tourist attraction, but I absolutely loved it. The views were great and the vineyard terraces were amazing. And the breeze felt nice. A nice way to let the wine buzz come down before the 1.5 hour drive back. Our day included: - Pick up at a convenient central location in Porto at 9. (I was messaged on tripadvisor ahead of time to confirm the pick up location. The night before were sent clear directions on the meeting point.) - Comfortable van with A/C that seated 8 travelers. - Stop at a small town for a quick bathroom and coffee break - 1st vineyard tour, included a tasting of wines and port (and some olive oils and honey tastings) - yummy lunch (with a lot of wine and haha) - 2nd vineyard tour focused on port wines - river boat cruise to end the day - Drop off at location convenient to us was around 5:30pm Tips: - Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate - Bring sunblock, sunglasses and hat - Use bathrooms at the vineyards. If you use the other public bathrooms, bring your own tissues and hand sanitizer/wipes. - The drive has some windy roads. If you get car sick easily, plan accordingly. This review is for the Duoro Valley Wine tour we visited in early April. We are two California-based female friends in our 30's visiting Portugal for the first time.mimibliss

The views were stunning and the tour of the winery was great. The food - so so. Seeing the beautiful landscape was worth the trip. Wishing we could have bought a lot of wine but the shipping was very expensive. Enjoyable !
