Jordan can be regarded as a typical Arab country as its people are very warm, friendly and hospitable. Jordanians are typically happy to forgive foreigners who break the rules of etiquette, however, visitors seen to be making an effort to observe local customs will undoubtedly win favour.
Joining local people for a cup of tea or coffee can be a wonderful way to learn more about local culture. If you are invited, yet are unable to attend, then it is perfectly acceptable to decline. Place your right hand over your heart and politely make your excuses.

Day 1: Queen Alia Airport – Amman
Pass By: Amman, Amman, Amman Governorate
Arrival at Amman Queen Alia International airport, our representative waits you at the airport holding a name sign and he will help you in arranging your free visa, and then walk with through the customs. Your driver will wait for you in the arrival hall, holding a name sign he will transfer you to the 3* Larsa Hotel (or similar) in Amman for overnight, including bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Amman - Amman City Tour - Jerash - Ammna
Pass By: Jerash, Jerash, Jerash Governorate
Your English Speaking driver will be waiting for you in the lobby of your hotel. Start your first morning in Jordan with a city tour. Visit the Citadel in Amman, with beautiful views over the city. Continue to the Roman Theater, located in the heart of Amman for a visit. Drive on to Jerash, to visit the world’s best preserved Roman provincial city. After your visit of Jerash transfer back to Amman for overnight, including bed and breakfast.

Day 3: Amman – Madaba – Mt.Nebo – Kerak – Little Petra – Petra
Pass By: Madaba, Madaba, Madaba Governorate
Today there is a long day ahead of you as you will be travelling to the South to Petra. At 07.30 am, after breakfast your tour today starts with visiting the St. George Church in Madaba with its famous mosaic map. Drive to Mt.Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land. Follow the King’s Highway until Kerak. In Kerak visit the immense Crusaders Castle. Time permitting you will also visit Little Petra today otherwise transfer directly to Petra.

Day 4: Petra Visit
Pass By: Petra - Wadi Musa, Petra - Wadi Musa, Ma'an Governorate
Full day to explore Petra, one of the seven world wonders. Entry by Siq and visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, Theater, Colonnaded Street etc. after lunch inside Petra you will still have time to visit the Monastery and/or the High Place of Sacrifice today. It is a lot of climbing but definitely worth the views!

Day 5: Petra - Wadi Rum
Pass By: Wadi Rum Village, Wadi Rum Village, Wadi Rum, Al Aqabah Governorate
After breakfast drive to Wadi Rum Visitors Centre. Before starting with the jeep tour you could decide to enjoy a half hour camel ride from Wadi Rum Village to Lawrence’s Spring. After start with a half day jeep tour including a freshly prepared barbeque lunch. A jeep tour is the best way to discover lots of sites in Wadi Rum. The jeep will stop at each site giving you time to walk/scramble around and maybe even climb up on some of the beautiful natural formed bridges in Wadi Rum. Dinner and overnight at the Authentic Khalid campsite(or similar) in Wadi Rum.

Day 6: Wadi Rum - Aqaba

Check out of your hotel and drive via the Wadi Araba desert to the Dead Sea, lowest point on the earth’s surface. Enjoy day entry and lunch at the 4*Dead Sea Spa Hotel. Float in the salty waters and try out the famous healing mud. Late afternoon transfer to Amman 3* Larsa hotel(or similar) for overnight, including bed and breakfast

Day 8: Departure

My wife and I, along with our 15-month-old infant, explored many sites of Jordan ( Dead Sea, Petra, Aqaba, Wadi Rum, Amman, Pella, Umm Qais, Jerash). We had approached the Why Jordan Tours tour to organize it. When we sent the query for 1st time, the response was quick, and Ms. Areej Fdoul handle...

We had approached the Why Jordan Tours tour to organize it. When we sent the query for 1st time, the response was quick, and Ms. Areej Fdoul handled our questions from the beginning until the end. She was able to accommodate all our requests and changes and come up with unique final plans. Each day of excursions was meticulously planned the best hotels were selected for stay. The arrival was easy, with the representative meeting us near the plane and completing all our immigration formalities. Afterward, we met our fantastic driver/guide Mr. Mohammad Al-Thunibat also called Abu Waleed. He was the perfect fit for us and made our entire trip hassle-free and enjoyable. Abu Waleed stopped us in many amazing spots to click some mesmerizing photos and took care of us all the time. We started our journey by floating in the dead sea, an incredible lifetime experience. The stay at Wadi Rum in capsules like staying in Mars ( Red sand, isolated and luxury), one should explore and feel it. The local guide at Wadi Rum was excellent who stopped us at the best spots and with a memorable picnic. The Petra experience is breathtaking and not able explain in words. One needs to experience it themself and enjoy the wonder of the world. Overall, The agency did a fantastic job and shown us the jewels of Jordan within seven days of span and made it memorable! We had a great time with our Driver Zayed, who looked after us, driving between the sites in Jordan. Our tour was cut short by the Corona virus, but both he, the team and our guides at the sites were excellent. Highly recommended firm, who I hope survive the lock down of world travel!
