It was well organized tour. Carlos who directed the tour was friendly and very helpful. The best part of tour was Cordoba, Seville, Alhambra and Toledo. The city tour of Madrid was cancelled by Julia travel and we had to it on our own. Vouchers were given for hop on and off buses but we could not avail as they were all coming full to our stop which was 1 mile walk from our hotel. Local hotels selected by Julia in Madrid and Granada were not good. Temp of rooms were controlled centrally in all hotels in Spain and had difficulty sleeping because it was hot in room. No complimentary water and coffee/tea in rooms. Crowne Plaza airport in Madrid where we stayed on our own provided complimentary water, tea/coffee in room and we were able to set our room temp.

On this trip, we paid for the upgraded hotel. The tour operator had us staying at Courtyard Marriott Madrid Princesa for three nights of the trip. This hotel was disgusting. Carpets and linen were stained in every room. We checked in, and looked at two different rooms before we were very disappointed and accepted the first room. We had to have maintenance come to replace lights not working in the bathroom, as well as the remote control that was not functioning When we arrived at the hotel, we had no idea what we're supposed to do next. It wasn't until later on that evening that somebody slid an agenda under our front door telling us where we would be going the next day. The tour operator bus Wi-Fi was not working the entire trip. During some of the stops that we made for meals, the tour operator appeared to have some type of incentive to get us to eat at prearranged prices/establishments. All of us were wondering if the tour guide was getting a kickback for these arrangements. Our tour provided us with optional excursions. There was nothing official with prices. The tour guide was just collecting cash from us. This did not seem professional, and I wondered if it was an acceptable practice? On one of our city stops-Toledo. Our bus was brought to what was apparently a factory to see craftsmen working and give us the opportunity to buy goods at a discount. This was a 30 minute stop that appeared nothing more than a set up to get us to spend money. Once again, I felt like I was being used for the tour guide to receive compensation for this stop. At the end of our tour, we were once again housed at the same Marriott Hotel. This time we went through three different rooms before we felt stuck with a dirty hotel. The clerks at the hotel informed us that we were put in a standard room. We were expecting a four-star hotel. This is what we paid for. This tour was purchased with Viator. Viator has gave me a complaint number IDB-36329076 weeks ago, but never contacted me. Marriott has offered us 2000 points (equal to 1/3 of a night for our complaints. I would not recommend these companies. Mr. Gelber USA

This tour was amazing - esp. because of our guide Ismael who was extremely knowledgeable about all the sights and went out of his way to make us comfortable. This was the perfect tour to get to see the special sights of Madrid and Andalucia. We definitely recommend this tour to new visitors to Spain.

Overall the tour is good value. But the day tour of Madrid started chaotic, rushed but informative. The local guides for Cordoba, Seville and Granada are good. The tour in Toledo was again quite rushed. The only problem is the dual language in Spanish and English. We enjoyed the sights and the people.

My friend and I had a great experience with your tour, our guides were knowledgeable and experienced, our hotels were clean and centrally located, this was my first time using your tours, from now on, I will only use your company, thanks for exceeding my expectations.

A very unorganised trip. Booked an English speaking tour and our guide spoke English that was very hard to understand. We also had to sit through the commentary in Spanish first which took time and often made the your tour twice as long, We spent wasted time at our check in time at hotels as there was two different levels of accommodation 1st class and tourist class, often as a first class traveller we would sit for 1 hour in the bus waiting for our guide to check tourist class in. Same thing in the mornings two hotels to collect people from. The destinations were amazing but limited free time in any place. If you are a history buff and love castles and cathedrals it's the trip for you. Very slow tours at each destination. The first class accomodation was definitely not up to standard. With broken air conditioing and although 36 degrees could not use the swimming pool as it is not summer season until 28th June .

i would recommend it! very well organized tour. we had a fantastic guide. the tour operator should just improve the tour in madrid by bus is not the best choice and the choice of the hotel in sevilla a little bit far from the downtown.

My tour guide Josep was amazing. He was very informative and very funny. We really enjoyed having him as our tour guide. There was some hotel confusion when we arrived at Costa del Sol, but the situation was resolved but we arrived late and didn't get to see anything there before moving on to our next stop. The places that we saw were all beautiful and very interesting. I would love to go back at my own leisure and re-visit some of the towns without being so rushed. The whole experience was fun though and we met a lot of nice people on the tour.

This was our first time traveling to Spain. We felt so lucky joining this tour because of our guide Josef. He was so well informed and shared with us the history of the different locations that we visited. The hotels we stayed at included breakfast and dinner and they were clean and comfortable. The driver handled all driving situations like a pro. All in all we enjoyed every thing that we saw, and experienced.

very disappointed !! The local tour operators are so big of a company to the extend that they are unorganized and lack the personal touch. It started with the Madrid tour, they combined English and Spanish speaking groups together only to give us Yasmina the tour guide who cannot put two words in English together and had no clue what she was talking about. The rest of the tour was Ok and could be better. Our tour guide Gracia was knowledgable but for sure has no compassion for her clients. She was lazy and worked as little as she could. The local guides in Seville was excellent . The total tour guide in Córdoba was very good. The local guide June in Granada was horrible and again they combined English speaking and Spanish speaking groups together. The tour indicted a walk in the old city and June decided it's not that important to do that tour. I felt that the local tour operators insulted our intelligence and disrespected the English speaking travelers . They need to really train their tour guides and be more human !

The trip was great! The guide was fun and the accommodations were all very nice. The bus was clean and comfortable. I saw all the places in Andalusia I wanted to. I was thrilled with the guides in Sevilla and Cordoba. They were very knowledgeable and interesting. I could have done without Costa del Sol because it was a touristy high rise on the beach. I wanted to see the culture -not other foreigners. This was the perfect time of the year because it was sunny but not hot. I think this is excellent value for money!!

My wife and I loved the tour. It gave us an excellent perspective to visit an important historic
part of Spain. Our guide Josep has great knowledge of its subjects.

I joined this tour with my friend and we felt that overall this tour was not bad. We had a very lovely, caring and knowledgeable tour guide Josep and lovely and helpful driver Paco. All the local guides were very knowledgeable as well. The pick up and drop off services were excellent! Location of the hotels were great and facilities were very good. But the dinner in Seville hotel is awful, very greasy. We took the 3 stars hotel package by the way, but they provide 4 stars hotels for us. What we didn't expect was the optional tours provided during the leisure time were not worth the price except the Flamenco show! And i think the travel company should have emailed the price list of the optional tours beforehand because both of us didn't have enough of cash in the end and had to withdraw money from the ATM machine.

Most excellent tour! Can't praise more the tour company for working with such wonderful guides like Hugothe main tour guide and Carmenour Madrid guide, our bus driver Jesus, the local guides like Luis in Cordoba, Gloria in Seville, Triny in Granada and Angel in Toledo. And last but not least Mona and Sonia, the two ladies who kept us informed about the tour beforehand. Spotllesly organised from the start to the finish. We had a smaller group, and had plenty of time to visit different places as to have optional tours or rest. The hotels were excellent so as the food. Can't recommend it more.

An amazing tour! The tour was very well planned, loved all the locations we were taken too and the knowledge of the tour guides. Although the only thing to be advised is that in the winter time it can be cold and so pack accordingly.

This was an excellent tour.. Our guide was personable, organized and knowledgeable. The hotel in Granada wasn't central and that would be our only negative comment. The tour overall was well-paced, interesting and we had a great time!

Overall the tour was great however there was a slight inconvenience whereby I was left in the dark on the pick up arrangement for my tour to Cordoba after the Madrid city tour. Nobody informed me of the arrangement and I had to make a trip to Julia Travel's office to find out the arrangement.
