Zanzibar is a beautiful island in Tanzania that comprises some of the world’s most beautiful sandy beaches with blue Indian Ocean waters that are shining with sparkling light.
The waters around Zanzibar are excellent for diving and snorkeling because of the many colorful coral reefs. Many tourists also visit Stone Town, the oldest town of the city, where you can see the influences of the Persians, Arabs, Portuguese, and Africans who drove the market in the past. You will see many different architectures from mansions to churches and mosques in this city.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Stop At: Stone Town, Zanzibar City Tanzania
You will be picked up by our driver from the international airport or hotel and transferred to the local airport for your trip to Zanzibar. The trip is about 30 minutes. You can also begin this tour from Zanzibar. Once you arrive at the airport in Zanzibar, our driver will be waiting for you and you will be transferred to a 4-star hotel in Stone Town, where you will eat your dinner and enjoy the night.

Day 2: Prison Island, Spice Farms, Nakupenda Beach and Stone Town Tours

Stop At: Prison Island - Changuu Private Island, Off the Coast From Stone Town Shangani, Stone Town, Zanzibar City 3395 Tanzania
On this day, you will pick two of the following excursions in Stone.
1 -Prison Island Tour:
You will be picked up from your hotel at 9:00 am to begin a trip to Prison Island. You will visit the historic Prison Island with its giant land Tortoises, where you will be able to observe the tortoises. You will also be able to enjoy a fantastic beach of reef sanctuary. You will be able to swim, sunbathe, snorkel, and just relax on the beach.

Stop At: Stone Town, Zanzibar City Tanzania
2 - Stone Town Walking Tour
You will begin the Stone Town tour soon after getting back from Prison Island. You will walk around the historical culture and architecture that is very important to the town of Zanzibar with a century of history. You will visit the former slave market site which now stands as an Anglican church that was built in 871. You will also be able to visit the town market, the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, the House of Wonder (built-in 1883), the Old Arab Fort, the Palace Museum, the Old Indian dispensary (Cultural Centre), and Maruhubi Palace Ruins, and many more.

Stop At: Spice farm, V68P+VW3, Unnamed Road, Zanzibar, Tanzania
3 - Spice Farm Tour
This is a wonderful opportunity to see Zanzibar spices like Cloves, Cinnamon, Black pepper, Nutmeg, and turmeric root, actually growing in the plantations. Other tropical fruits such as jack fruit, custard, apple, Rambutan, and Carambola can also be seen and tasted. You will also be able to see plants like the Henna bush, Lipstick tree, and Lemongrass. Finally, you will visit the Kidichi Persian Bath which was built by the first Sultan of Zanzibar named Sultan Said Said bin Sultan in 1850, and Maruhubi Palace Ruins built by the third Sultan of Zanzibar named Sultan Said Baraghash Bin Said in 1880 which were built especially for housing 99 of his harems. Sensible shoes and hats are advisable.

Stop At: Nakupenda Beach Nature Reserve, Stone Town, Zanzibar City Tanzania
4 - Nakupenda Beach Tour
Here, you will visit a SandBank which is a few minutes from Stone Tow. You will enjoy lunch (sea foods and drinks), relax on the sandbank, swim, and listen to the birdlife around you.

Stop At: Kiwengwa Beach, Kiwengwa Tanzania
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to Kiwengwa Beach, where you will stay at the 4-star hotel and enjoy your dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Safari Blue Tour

Stop At: Safari Blue Adventure, Kwale Island, Zanzibar City Tanzania
At 7:00 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel and begin the Safari Blue tour. This is a full-day cruise on a shared traditional dhow boat on the southern coastline of Zanzibar. During this trip, you will enjoy snorkeling at a sandbank, swimming, relaxing, exploring Kwale Island, drinks, and a seafood buffet. You will eat your buffet seafood during the tour (included).

Stop At: Kiwengwa Beach, Kiwengwa Tanzania
Later in the evening, you will be transferred back to your hotel for your dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 4: Mnemba Atoll -> Nungwi Swim with the turtle -> Kendwa Sunset Cruise

Stop At: Mnemba Island, Tanzania
Today, after breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel to go for another Snorkeling excursion at the Mnemba area. Here you will play with Dolphins, Coral, etc. Lunch and fruit will be served.

Stop At: Baraka Natural Aquarium - Nungwi, Near Mnarani Cottages, Nungwi 73107 Tanzania
In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Nungwi beach where you will visit the Baraka Natural Aquarium. Here. you will be able to see turtles swimming in their rock pools. Mnarani aquarium, is located at the northern tip of Zanzibar Island in the small village of Nungwi near the lighthouse that marks this landmark. The pond is a large, natural tidal pool in the coral rock behind the beach. It was originally set up to rehabilitate and study marine turtles that had been caught in fishing nets, and the project was developed to ensure that local baby turtles were also protected. Here, you will swim with turtles and also take some pictures.

Stop At: Kendwa Beach, Kendwa Tanzania
Finally, you will be transferred to the nearby beach, Kendwa Beach, where you will take the Sunset Evening Cruise. here you will ride the traditional dhow around Indian the Ocean during the Sunset. Soft drinks may be provided.
Duration: 4 minutes

Stop At: Kiwengwa Beach, Kiwengwa Tanzania
Late in the evening, you will be brought back to your 4 hotel for your dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Relax at the beach hotel

You can hang out at restaurants, bars, or just at the beach. You can also be transferred to Paje or Jambiani so you can hang out by the restaurants and bars watching the sunset (this activity is not included in the package).

Day 6: Relax at the beach hotel

You can also be transferred to Paje or Jambiani so you can hang out by the restaurants and bars watching the sunset (this activity is not included in the package).

Day 7: Departure (to Dar Es Salaam, Kilimanjaro, or Arusha)

After breakfast, you will be picked up by our driver and transferred to the airport to catch your flight back to Dar Es Salaam (or Kilimanjaro/Arusha). When you arrive in Dar Es Salaam (or Kilimanjaro/Arusha), our driver will be waiting for you and you will be transferred to your hotel or to the international airport for your flight back home.
