This cooking class was a very good experience to understand Hanoi. Kim brought us to the nearby market to buy ingredients and then back to the classroom to prepare and cook. We total 7 people learnt 5 dishes in 3 hours. The atmosphere was very good. After the class we could sit together, chat and ate what we had cook. We were from HK and we knew new friends from France and Spain in the class. This was also a good experience. Kim did a good job. I liked this class very much. Highly recommend.

The food was amazing. I learned a lot that I couldn’t have learned on my own. Our guide May was very kind and hilarious. The experience felt very natural and was spaced out well.

May, our cooking teacher, did an amazing job. She executed the lesson at a great pace and made sure every student had the chance to contribute and have fun.

I went with my daughter, it was fun walking around the street markets as a group. The markets were close by. Ruby was our head chef who taught us 5 amazing dishes which we ate as a group afterwards. This tour would not suit anyone who cant walk up 4 flights of steep stairs but I thoroughly recommend these classes.

It was my first cooking class in a long time so I didn’t know what to expect, but ended up having a great time! Vy, our teacher, was the best! I felt her dedication, enthusiasm, and love for what she does. I enjoyed her commentary and the camaraderie we built during the class. Plus, the dishes we prepared were very delicious ❤️ Would recommend this to anyone visiting Hanoi for the first time and is interested in learning more about Vietnam cuisine. Thanks again to Vy!!!

Vy was very attentive, hands-on, patient, and easy to understand. She made sure we can follow her instructions before moving on and she made all of us participate, never leaving anyone behind even if we’re from different nationalities. She explained the ingredients as well, even answered some of our questions regarding the price and the availability. The food we made tasted amazing, with the additional bonus of the free easy-to-follow cookbook if you forget an ingredient or a step. All in all, it was a very fun and nurturing experience. A must-try if you’re ever in Hanoi and curious on how to cook the delicious food that Vietnam has to offer!

Our teacher, Vy, was so great at facilitating the class! She’s fluent in English, knowledgable in her craft, accommodating, and a great conversationalist! My friends and I had fun on our private class along with four more guests who were friendly too.
