Three friends and I did self drive 4wd buggies today. It was really challenging at first but we got the hang of it after about 10 minutes. We drove up the mountain ridges, farms and the rainforest. It was so beautiful and we had a great fun time. The con is that it is quite a bit expensive but if you saw what was involved, the price would seem reasonable. Last, the staff are really friendly and helpful to us so that added more to the positive experience!We had a great tome at Adventure Playground. We had a great tome at Adventure Playground. We did the 1 hr 4x4 self drive and clay shooting options. The 4x4 self drive buggy’s were fun and pretty simple to drive. Esther is a great guide, using humour while completing safety instructions and telling of history to connect with customers. The track was great, we had no issues. The views are amazing, would definitely recommend. The clay shooting with Ihaia was excellent. He is an amazing guide, very laid back with a plethora of cultural knowledge. He made the experience better than expected and we enjoyed this activity more than we thought we would. Both Esther & Ihaia double as photographers for you while completing activities, we were impressed. We had a great time on the 4x4 self drive tour up the mountain! Steve and Craig were our fantastic tour guides, gave us a safety run down and then lead the way through some awesome terrain and great views whilst we zoomed along! They took some great photos of us and really made sure we had a fun time. Plenty of stops to switch drivers which meant we didn’t have to argue too much about who’s turn it was because both of us wanted to be behind the wheel. Small group meant that we got plenty attention and really got to enjoy ourselves. We will not be forgetting this any time soon!!So kind so caring and so considerate! Esther Cullen was literally the best tour guide I have ever had.
