Sancho our skipper, gave us a delightfully informative tour. He told us about the clam and oyster farms, history of the region and the livelihoods of the fishing community. From Olhao, we visited the light house at Farol, stopped in Culatra for a superb fish lunch and then on to the eastern end of the island for a quick swim. Highly recommended. Sheila and Trevor

The skipper João Sancho was great during the tour. All the time giving information about what is visible in the beautiful Rio Formosa. All day no hurry so that our 5 hours trip took 6,5 hours. Perfect trip, very nice captain.

It was a fantastic experience. Very friendly and knowledgable guide. Within 5 hours we experienced 3 islands, oysters farms and many birds. We enjoyed it very much.

The captain of the boat, João explained in detail the history of and present workings of the Ria Formosa. The islands around Olhão have a rich history and with his knowledge of the past and present he gave us a great understanding of this beautiful working waterway.

Thankyou Jaime for a fantastic day exploring the lagoons. We all learnt so much about tides and local clam 'farming'....and visiting our own private (Blake) island. We had such a nice day we overstayed by 2 hours!

Superb trip. Skipper Joao personalised the experience for us as one of our party was particularly interested in birds. It was a comfortable boat with drinks provided. He arranged a lunch table at a fish restaurant on one of the islands and was relaxed with the time of our return. We highly recommend this trip.

I could recommend enough this tour. Very organized and the guide Jaime is simply the best. Very interesting explanations, super fun and nice.

The boat tour was amazing. We enjoyed all the locations we did and had the chance to have as skipper Joao who is also the owner. He was very kind and he took time to explain the specificities of the region, nature and flora with some anecdotes. We really enjoyed our time ! The boat was also comfortable and we received fresh drinks. The islands we visited and the beaches were amazing. I traveled a lot but these places were really worth it. The price was correct for the tour and we felt like home. I recommend 100% this tour.

Superbe expérience, magnifique petite croisière de 5h30 ponctuée d'arrêts d'intérêt. Le restaurant conseillé par notre guide Ricardo est juste excellent. Tout se fait dans la bonne humeur et sans le stress du temps. Grand merci à Ricardo pour sa bonne humeur, ses explications et ses conseils. Nous recommandons vivement ce petit "voyage" plein de simplicité et d'authenticité.

Honnetement l'un des meilleurs tours de la région. Notre skipper, Joao, c'etait la creme de la creme. Hyper arrangeant, prévenant et trés avant. Il n'a pas hesité a faire 1h de plus de tour car nous avions perdu du temps au restaurant. Le top.

Nous avons passé un moment MAGIQUE ! 4 heures de pur bonheur ! Un accueil chalereux avec des boissons fraiches. Notre guide etait aux petits soins ! Nous reviendrons sans hesiter !!!!!

Decidimos fazer a tour pelas ilhas da ria formosa com a Sabino boat tours e não podíamos ter ficado mais satisfeitos com toda a experiência. Trata-se de uma visita pelas ilhas da ria com guia (o nosso foi o João, que adoramos conhecer), com paragem para almoço no restaurante “a do João” no farol. Os guias da Sabino não podiam ser mais simpáticos e prestáveis e conhecem como ninguém a ria porque nasceram e cresceram na ria, foram pescadores na ria. Ou seja, é uma experiência verdadeiramente genuína. Todo o atendimento foi absolutamente fantástico. O barco com excelentes condições, bebidas frescas a bordo, muita atenção as questões de segurança. Paragem em várias praias paradisíacas das ilhas e paragem para almoço no farol com explicação da cultura e forma de viver dos habitantes da ilha. Recomendo vivamente está experiência para conhecer uma forma de viver muito diferente da que a maioria de nós conhecemos.

Wir hatten diese Tour bereits im letzten Jahr mit Sabino Boat Tours unternommen. Wir waren so begeistert, daß wir diese Tour noch einmal mit unseren Freunden unternehmen wollten. Letztes Jahr hatten wir neben vielen Informationen auch viel Spaß mit unserem Skipper. Leider wurde diese Tour dieses Jahr recht nüchtern ohne Witz und Esprit durchgeführt. Die Informationen waren zwar umfangreich und im Detail sehr genau, aber auf Dauer sehr anstrengend. Da fehlte doch Abwechslung und wir wußten nicht, was wir 40 Minuten auf einer Insel anfangen sollten. Auch zum Mittagessen kam unser Skipper nicht mit. Es fehlte der Zusammenhalt in der Gruppe. Wir haben uns dann alleine amüsiert und die Tour bei besten Wetter genossen. Wer die Tour zum ersten mal unternimmt, wird begeistert sein.

Hemos pasado una mañana perfecta bañándonos en bonitas playas y conociendo detalles de la ria de la mano de Jaime. Ha sido muy amable en todo momento y transmitía su amor por la naturaleza. Muy recomendable!

Passeio muito interessante e bonito... Já conhecia as ilhas.. Mas este tour na companhia do skipper João teve uma componente didática... Vimos a ria de outra forma através das suas explicações.. O facto de irmos sozinhos foi um privilégio e tornou se num passeio mais intimista.. Pela troca de experiências e pelas conversas ao longo do dia..
