I contacted Love Egypt Tours after another company cancelled the day before departure. Within hours, Mr. Hass coordinated a driver from Hurghada, and tour guides for each location from Luxor to Aswan. As a solo female traveler in an unfamiliar environment, I appreciate that Mr. Hass checked in daily to ensure I was comfortable and guides, Hagag Amine (Luxor), Manal (Edfu), and Ahmed Slim (Aswan) were very thorough and knowledgeable in explanation and the ultimate lady and gentlemen. They fielded off the aggressive vendors and assisted with negotiating souvenirs. If it was this positive of an experience while coordinated in less than a day, I can only image the hospitality when there is time to detail the plan. Side note...I lucked out with a Princess Cruise Line ship and excellent crew, but I suggest researching the caliber of ship and adjust your budget accordingly since there are several companies operating cruises. As a couple we had booked a private tour by Love Egypt Tours and I would highly recommend this package as it covers almost everything. Mr. Hass has been very courteous and paid good attention to detail throughout the trip planning and execution. The Nile cruise is an amazing experience once should definitely have if one is visiting Egypt. Mr. Ahmed, who was our guide throughout the cruise has been very kind and knowledgeable. He ensured we understood the historical background to some of the most interesting places one will see during the cruise. We were surprised to hear that he has the same royal lineage as Ramses and Hatshepsut. So it was literally listening to family stories. The food inside the cruise was extremely good as well both in terms of quality and in terms of the buffet spread. At night, the moonlit Nile looking out of your rooms as one cruise along the mighty river is a delight for the eyes and one shouldn’t miss it. I want to thank Mr. Hass for giving us very good guides - both Mr. George and Mr. Ahmed and looking to our needs throughout our trip. Hoping to end on a high as we fly back to Dubai tonight!We learnt so much from our tour guides. We learnt so much from our tour guides. Having a guide with you at All times is a must as they help you to navigate how to deal with the locals in order to not be hassled too much. Cairos visit to the Pyramid’s and museum with George was brilliant we had plenty of fun too. The hot air balloon over the valley of the kings is a must, highlights were temple of Karnak and the tombs in the valley. Our guide, Ahmed has been such a pleasure to deal with, great guy. Love Egypt tours really look after you from start to finish. Make sure you have plenty of small denominations of local currency as there is alot of ‘tipping’ wherever you go which can be a problem.
