Our family of four just spent 5 days last week with two exceptional guides, Iker and Ernesto, from BasqueGuides. I am of Basque heritage, so in addition to their 4 day package, we spent a 5th day traveling to my family's home town outside of Pamplona. When you hire Iker's company, you hire professional guides whom are multi-lingual, steeped in history, interpersonally supportive in every sense of the word and culturally wise regarding all things related to societal information/norms, mouth-watering food and exceptional wines. Each of our five days were filled to the brim with amazing opportunities and interactions, many of which would NOT have been possible if it had not been for Iker's and Ernesto's combined work ethic, flexibility, inventiveness, and genuine determination to give us "6 Star" experiences. I cannot thank them both enough for all the spectacular, moving, and humorous moments they provided on a trip I had waited a lifetime to take. Not only will we be back, but we would only travel the Basque region with them at our sides! You should too!
