Day 1: Arrive in Dunhuang

Arrive in Dunhuang, the node city on the Silk Road, you will be met at the airport and transferred to hotel. Then you will visit the Dunhuang night market -bustling Shazhou Night Market. Never miss its tasty snacks, local specialties, and crafts etc.

Day 2: Dunhuang
Stop At: Yumen Pass, 90 Km Northwest of Dunhuang, Dunhuang 736200 China
Today you will visit the Yumen Pass, located 90 kilometers northwest of Dunhuang, it was built around 111 BC and used to be the main pass of the Silk Road to the north part of the Western Regions.

Stop At: Yadan National Geological Park, 180 Km Northwest of Dunhuang, Dunhuang 736200 China
Continue the tour to visit Yadan National Geologic Park, which is commonly known as the Yadan Ghost City, it is 168 kilometers away from downtown Dunhuang. The park covers an area of 346.34 square kilometers, mainly with geological relics formed by wind erosion. For its unique desert scenery, various geological wonders and ancient folklore, the park has attracted countless tourists to explore the mysteries of nature.

Then visit the Han Great Wall, built in ancient Han Dynasty, its history is even longer than the Ming Great Wall in Beijing. Archaeological findings show that the Han Great Wall extended from Xinjiang in the west to Jilin province in the east, and was more than 10, 000 kilometers long, longer than the Ming Great Wall.
