On this 3-day camping safari, you will be well looked after and see some of the best that Tanzania has to offer. You will experience breathtaking wildlife in the midst of some of the most diverse landscapes; monkeys in the forest, lions on the trees, elephants among acacias, and a huge variety of animals inside a collapsed volcano. Not only will you visit Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Park but also drive into the world-famous rift valley.

Day 1: Arusha to serengeti
Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, early in the morning, our driver-guide will drive you from Arusha to Serengeti National Park. Set out for the endless open plains and stunning skies of the Serengeti. A good-looking three-hour drive, evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Day 2: serengeti to ngorongoro
Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania
After a morning game drive and an early lunch, proceed to Ngorongoro. Our professional and experienced driver will drive you all through Serengeti to the Ngorongoro crater explaining en-route the wildlife and natural beauty of Tanzania. We will spend the night on the crater rim, dinner and overnight will be at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Day 3: crater to Arusha
Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania
After an early breakfast, proceed directly to the crater floor for a day crater tour with picnic lunch. Later proceed back to Arusha.

The safari was wonderful! We were on safari during the rain season, but the weather was nice and there were not to many cars. It was nearly empty of cars and full of animals. We saw almost all the big 5 and so many other animals. The pick up service was very nice. The guide gave us a lot interest...

We did a 3-day camping tour to Serengeti and Ngorongoro and it was astonishing - the experience of a lifetime. Both parks are wonderful and we have managed to see the so called "big 5", as well as dozens of thousands of other animals. We had a knowledgeable driver who drove very carefully and guided us through the whole trip, answering all our questions with curiosities and numbers. The food was also beyond our expectations, it was not "camping food" and it was really tasting. Also, to be honest we were a bit afraid being the rainy season and seeing the weather forecast, but everything was well arranged and even though it rained one night, the tents were indeed waterproof. During the day, it rained for very short periods and we even had perfect sunny days, so dont always trust the forecast! Also, Suricata safaris were very helpful in all the process, answering every email and whatsapp. We lost our connection flight in Istanbul and so we had some last minute changes, arriving to Arusha one day after the arranged date, on the very motning of the safari start, and our pick-up driver (Mr. T) was there at the airport with everything sorted out. As setbacks can happen, this is one of the most important things for me in a travel agency and it's reassuring to deal with guys that know how to handle unforeseen circumstances and adjust. If i go back to Arusha, I'll certainly pick Suricata Safaris again!jparish94

We did a 3 day safari which included the Serengeti and Ngorongoro - both of which are spectacular places. We paid extra for tented lodges - which were fairly basic but very nice / clean and we had elephants and water buffalo right next to our camps in the evenings. In terms of game viewing, both places are exceptional. We saw the big 5 as well as many other animals. The only thing we didn’t manage to see is the cheetah.
