Day 2: Gorilla tracking and Lake Bunyonyi
Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Western Region
After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, you will enter the Gorilla Sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular! The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored.
Return to your lodge. Have your lunch and thereafter check out for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2, 200 – 2, 478m) but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical — you could admire them all day.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala

Else, embark on your return journey to Entebbe Airport or accommodation of your booking. Expect en route stopovers in Mbarara town for lunch and the Uganda Equator line mark in Kayabwe for some memorable photos (if you didn’t stop on the first day) and maybe buying some art pieces of interest. Proceed with the journey arriving late afternoon/evening for drop off at the airport or accommodation of your booking.

I didn’t want to do a 4 hour hike … so he put the me the easy group and we found the gorillas 10 min into the forest. It was amazing! The team is great they went above and beyond with any request I had. I would highly recommend people to book with this company. Unforgettable experience. Long but easily manageable journey: hands-on experience at the equator line on the Coriolis acceleration, stops on request, great lunch experience, lively villages along the way. Once we reached the excellent accommodation of the Gorilla Mist Camp inside the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, we had contact with the village of Batwa residents (pygmies) and with the orphanage of delightful and welcoming children. The next day we were able to easily meet a family of 13 mountain gorillas with two silverbacks. Ignoring our presence, the family was so at ease that a couple mated in front of us while the puppies played continuously under the watchful eye of their mothers. Incredible. Perfect organization, respecting the places and the animals. Wonderful rest at Lake Bunyony, perhaps in the most impressive mountain landscape in Uganda. The experience gained is that of a lifetime and is absolutely worth the trip, from anywhere in the world. That was so amazing also They all have AC, 4*4 Wheel drive, The roof pops up, they have charge ports for computers, cameras, they have fridge, free WiFi, drinking water on board Their guides include : Rita Leticia, Ben, Martin, Amos, Emma, sperito,

I did the 3 day Bwindi nationalpark safari and it was one of the best experiences ever. The ride was super comfortable, the safari land cruiser has many practical gadgets like being able to lay the seat fully down and have a good nap on this long drive. It also has wifi and a fridge which always holds a couple of drinks of your choice. The air conditioner worked perfectly fine as well, although I preferred to just leave the windows down and enjoy the wind in the car. The driving skills of the guide were very good as well, so that I could fully relax and just enjoy the ride. Talking about the guide, he also was extremely nice and never hesitated to try making all special requests coming from me possible. Also he was a super good partner for conversations but never invaded my personal space :) The Trekking itself was magical and although I thought it was very expensive at first, I’m convinced it was worth every single penny now. I can definitely recommend it to everyone thinking about it. It’s a one in a lifetime experience you will never forget! Thank you so much @pamojatours for making this trip possible and such a beautiful memory! I would always do it again and if I ever happen to do another safari in the eastern part of Africa, I’ll definitely call you! Pamoja Tours & Travel did a great job with organizing our trip, permits, accommodation, PCR testing. They made our 7-days trip effortless and smooth. We had a very good experience during all the trip, our guide Amos was superb. All the hotels were excellent especially Twin Lakes Safari Lodge (at Queen Elizabeth National Park), Gorilla Mist Camp (Bwindi Impenetrable Forest) and Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort (at Lake Bunyonyi). The whole trip was excellent but I would definitely highlight gorilla tracking, a real once in a lifetime experience. If you are visiting Uganda and want a well-organized trip then I definitely recommend "Pamoja Tours & Travel", we can highly recommend this company! Our guides were very friendly, attentive and experienced and the activities were very diverse and entertaining. Great job and big thank you to all team, especially Amos and Sperito.
