What to expect
Itinerary
Day 1: Quito to Cotopaxi
Stop At: Machachi, Machachi, Pichincha Province
We will make a stop to buy snacks, use restrooms and use ATM (food not included)
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Cotopaxi National Park, Ecuador
We will visit the second highest volcano in Ecuador, this is located inside of a natural reserve. Inside the reserve we can visit Limpiopungo lagoon and hike up to the first refuge at 4.684 masl.
You can try the coca tea at the first refuge.
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: Laguna de Limpiopungo, Latacunga Ecuador
We will visit Limpiopungo lake, from this point you can have a nice view of the volcano if it is clear. Also you will see some endemic birds from the area
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: El Chaupi, El Chaupi, Pichincha Province
Stay the afternoon and night next to the Cotopaxi (not included: book your hotel with us when the confirmation is done)

Day 2: Cotopaxi - Quilotoa
Pass By: Tigua, Tigua, Cotopaxi Province
We will pass next to local houses and galeries, Tigua is well known for the paintings and the arte
Stop At: Laguna Quilotoa, Laguna de Quilotoa, 070701 Ecuador
Visit the beautiful turqoise Quilotoa, we will visit the look out and walk on the trail to the lake. Enjoy taking the best pictures of the most beautiful lake in Ecuador.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Banos, Banos, Tungurahua Province
After the check in you can decide between relaxing on the hotsprings
(entrance not included) or visiting the town and the night life, our guide will tell you the best options and the typical food so you can fell like a local
Duration: 8 hours
Stop At: Banos, Banos, Tungurahua Province
Take a ride from Quilotoa to Baños, free time in Baños town to enjoy the city and the hotsprings (not included)

Day 3: Baños to Quito
Stop At: CASCADA EL PAILON, De Septiembre Rio Verde 11, Banos 180301 Ecuador
Early in the morning we will star our waterfalls tour, we will take the road that takes to the jungle.
On the road we will make a stop to enjoy in the cable car over the river and you will have time to decide if you want to make zipline (entrance not included)
Finally we will go to the Devil´s Cauldron waterfall, you will feel the enery and the power of this big waterfall
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: Banos, Banos, Tungurahua Province
Ride the cable car over Pastazsa river and enjoy the views of the jungle
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: La Casa del Arbol, Runtun village, Banos 010151 Ecuador
Visit the iconic swing at the end of the world and enjoy the best view of Baños. Take wonderfull pictures from the house on the tree.
Duration: 40 minutes

This tour was fantastic. You get to see so much beauty! I have been a guide before and will tell you that you will never find a guide with as much passion as Irene. She is such a sweetheart and truly loves sharing her love for her country with other people. If they made an action figure of her, I would absolutely buy it because she is someone I never want to forget. A total goofball in the best way possible. She pushed us out of our comfort zone into new experiences, while still respecting any resistance, and she even personally bought us some local produce to try. She emphasized a lot of indigenous culture and took us to places i would have never thought to visit. Very sweet and lovely. The driver that we had was Jon and, if you speak any Spanish, he is so much fun. Great energy, he even went bungee jumping with some of us. He has a lot of personality and charm. Altogether it was a great team to show us some beautiful spots around the country.734lilia

We went ziplining, bungee jumping, the Swing on the Edge of the World, we hiked two volcanos (Cotapaxi and Quilotoa), we saw waterfalls, and we tried all kinds of wonderful Ecuadorian food. The accommodations were wonderful as well. I have to give a special shout out to Irene especially! She went above and beyond. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough.
