2hr Twin Peaks ATV Adventure from Reykjavik
Overview
This 2 hour journey will lead you on top of both on Reykjavik Peak and Wolf Peak Mountain.
You will begin your day by being picked up by the ATV Operator team taken to their newly made headquarters with well equipped bathrooms and free coffee available.
After the briefing is done you will set your atv journey across Hafravatn Lake, Icelandic wilderness and ascend to Reykjavik Peak enjoy the view and after conquering Reykjavik Peak you will start ascending to a more steep mountain named Wolf Peak Mountain. These two mountains will give you fanstastic view over Faxafloi bay, Esja mountain, Reykjavik capital, blue mountains. You can also see the steam coming from the Hellisheidi Geothermal power plant that provides heat to homes in Reykjavik.
No alcohol or drug tolerance is allowed on our tours.
Participants showing up under the influence are not entitled to a refund.

What to expect
At our basecamp we will gear you up and get you ready for your adventure. We will teach you on how to operate the atv. At basecamp we have overalls, balaclavas, helmet & gloves.

We will drive up two mountains the Reykjavik Peak and Ulfarsfell Mountain Peak to see two stunning view over Reykjavik.

Additional information
- Pricing is per person and based on 2 people riding on one quad
- Children aged 8-17 are only permitted as passengers on the quad bikes
- Not wheelchair accessible
- A valid driver's license is required to drive the quad bike
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- No alcohol or drug tolerance is allowed on our tours. We have the right to breathalyze participants if our guides suspect a participant being under the influence and deny going on the tour. - This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

My girlfriend and I booked this tour to add some excitement to our trip and it delivered! It was tons of fun and a great way to experience the rugged terrain of Iceland. We didn’t have any experience with atvs, dirt bikes, or off roading before this and it was not an issues at all. Would highly recommended. It was a blast and probably the highlight of our trip!was a nice and professional set up and trip, had a lot of fun doing it. I would recommend them highly.

Views were amazing from the 2 peeks but felt like we floored it all the way so didn't have enough time sometimes to look up from the gravel, but saying that, I enjoyed every minute of it. A little awkward on arrival, need a little more enthusiasm!

This ATV safari was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland. I can’t commend Stefan enough who lead our group! He was engaging, attentive (as well as very patient) and checked everyone was able / enjoying the experience as well as giving encouragement / explaining where we would be going and the terrain involved. The 2+ hours involved driving on a mixture of road (short section to get to tracks) and then tracks which were a combination of straight forward to more challenging which required 4WD. The landscape was amazing when you weren’t having to concentrate on negotiating sections and views from both mountains were fabulous. A great way to see the beautiful countryside off the beaten track. Thanks again Stefan for making our experience one to remember!It was a great view! Actually amazing view.
