21 Days Raid Sahara Great South Algeria

Set off to contemplate and explore the different facets of the largest desert in the world. Vast sea of dunes, immense rocky plains, vertiginous mountains or even canyons, take part in a real journey between Mars and the Moon at the wheel of your 4x4.

Day 3: South Algiers - Ghardaïa

Pass By: Ghardaia, Algeria
Departure in convoy
1 hour lunch break in Laghaouat: Meal and refueling.
Stop every 2.5 hours approximately.
600km of road through 3 types of landscapes. First the mountainous landscape of the Atlas Tellien in the national park of Chréa. We will then discover the high plateaus covered with steppe in the region of Djelfa (capital of the high plateaus).
From Laghouat, a stopover town on the desert road, the first Saharan landscapes await you.
Arrival in Ghardaïa, main city of the pentapole of the Mzab valley.

Day 5: Tin Fouye - Illizi

Day 6: Illizi – Erg Admer

Description of the day:
- Winding road crossing a sandstone plateau darkened by the sun.
- Village of Iherir at the bottom of a breathtaking canyon. Breathtaking panorama.
- Wetland of world interest inhabited since the Neolithic era classified by Unesco.

- Relaxed morning in the middle of the dunes. Leisure time in the sand.

- Lunch at the site of the crying cow
- Free time, personal purchases. Visit of the souk

Day 17: Touggourt - Timgad

Within a relatively short journey, we will pass from Saharan landscapes (palm trees) to a mid-mountain environment (conifers).
We will arrive in the late afternoon in Timgad to enjoy the sunset over the extraordinarily well-preserved Roman city (World-class Roman site)

Arrival at noon in Constantine to enjoy a day of discovery and wonder in the city considered the capital of the east of the country. City of 1000 bridges, city of culture (Arab-Andalusian music) and crafts (particularly brassware).
