What to expect
2 beautiful dives inside Cabo San Lucas bay. Local sites are a five-minute boat ride away, so those who don’t enjoy long trips will enjoy the short cruise. The eastern side of the bay was declared a National Marine Park in 1973, one of the first in Mexico. Over the years, the abundance of marine life has grown from this protection.
Enormous underwater cliffs that go 300-600ft down to depths, Sand Falls at Pelican Rock and playful sea lions are all part of this fantastic trip, and to top it off a huge variety of marine animals from tropical fish to eels, lobsters, rays and small nudibranchs; All of these together will have you planning your next trip to Cabo before stepping off the boat.
Inside the protection of the Bay, the conditions are excellent for diving with rarely any currents and typically good visibility.

The staff are SUPER friendly, and our dive master worked really hard to find us interesting things to look at. Unfortunately I went during a very windy day so the swells were big and the visibility was bad, but of course this wasn't Manta's fault!Great Dive. Great Company. I love to dive but would not dive here again.I haven't been diving in 2 years due to Covid, so I booked a quick refresher with Manta before starting the reserve dive. The staff were very patient with me and made me feel very comfortable getting back into the swing of things. This was my coldest dive when we went in April, so just a heads up for anyone who is sensitive to cold to be prepared for that because I wasn't. :) We also did a night dive and I highly recommend doing that - we saw angelfish, needlefish, guitar sharks and a couple different varieties of lobster.I did the 2 tank dive one day and then went with my family to La Paz to swim with the whale sharks. I did the 2 tank dive one day and then went with my family to La Paz to swim with the whale sharks. The guides were amazing - Angela, Noel & Julio. They were not only incredibly helpful, caring and attentive, but super knowledgeable and informative. Pre-dive the shop was very communicative and quick to respond. They live up to their 5 stars and more with their concern for safety, the wildlife & environment, and their divers. Swimming with the whale sharks was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and I am so happy we chose to do it with Manta. Add to all of this, the homemade ceviche on the beach after was more than I could’ve expected. The best meal I’ve had on my trip!
