We had a great time. Next time, I’m going to get the ATVs they looked fun too. The guide was very helpful and made sure we had a great experience.

Picked us up at the hotel. So much fun! Friendly, accommodating. Would definitely do it again, if we come back.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommend you bring goggles, bandana and towel with change of clothes. They have open area to rinse off after, but not any changing rooms. They provided pickup and drop off in an open air truck.

The route of this tour takes you through the ditch beside the main road for about 1/3 of the tour, so it’s not just mud flying up - it’s runoff from vehicles, animals, septic and trash flying at you as you drive through - like driving through a swamp in a dump. Before you book ask if this is still the route because it was gross. If they changed the route this would be a good experience. 1/3 of the route is muddy trails through a park which was fun, and 1/3 is street driving through a little village. Staff were nice, and the buggies were okay (both buggies our group used broke down, but staff either fixed them or switched us into a new buggy).

Experience was just OK, not quite as advertised. In the buggy for less then 1.5 hours, a good part of which was on busy roads. Parked at the beach, didn't actually get to drive on it. They charge 5$ US per beer, gouged, and we were asked to buy a beer for one of the tour crew! 2nd stop was at a "river" in a small neighbourhood , not scenic at all! The highlights were seeing some of the countryside and local neighbourhoods. Overall not impressive unfortunately!

Really fun time! Beach was gorgeous and the guides were all kind and helpful. Great couples activity. I was expecting to get dirty but did not anticipate the large piles of poop in the road that were unavoidable. It was everywhere by the time we got to the beach. We rinsed in the ocean and then showered again at the end but nothing gets rid of the smell. Bring your own soap and hand sanitizer since none provided.

It’s was amazing I will definitely do it again if I come back! Expect that, It’s will be fun if we could’ve gone in the water a little bit more and faster some time. Other than that, my husband and I really enjoyed it! Thank you guys!

Chris was our guide for the trip. We stopped at a place to taste hit chocolate and coffee. The people were very welcoming and friendly. Last stop was an amazing beach, beautiful and clear blue water. Will be doing this excursion again when we return in a few months.

The buggies are old and not fast…. Most didn’t have seatbelts/helmets and since we were touring with our young kids it wasn’t ideal. To get to the scenic part of the trip you had to drive your buggy down the main road which was pretty aggressive… I feel like another excursion would have been better money spent

Tour started off fine. Got into the buggy with my friend she drove first then I drove. Nice views of the countryside and back roads. This was my fourth time visiting the DR and first time for my friend. Our buggy kept shutting down on our way back , towards the end we had to get a new buggy in order to go back . Buggies are old and not properly maintained saw other drivers needed jump start many times. I would recommend doing a private tour or going with a different company.

Pick-up driver was prompt. After arriving to the site, we were offered googles to rent for $5 and bandanas for $5. They are necessary for the dust and mud, if you didn’t bring them. After getting into our buggy, we drove maybe 20 minutes before stopping at the beach. There was a restaurant hut selling food and drinks, along with locals selling handmade items. I’m not one to be rude but not taking no for an answer became irritating. There were local military police presence with assault rifles, which was a little intimidating. We were only supposed to be there for 25 minutes but were there closer to an hour, if not more because others in our group were eating and drinking. Once we left it was maybe another 20 minutes or so of riding. Our expectations were, we’d have a lot more riding time, which was a disappointment. After arriving back at the site we were offered pictures and video on a thumb-drive. I’d read online in other reviews people were charged $30. Price offered to us was more. Others in the group were offered different pricing. Didn’t make sense. We tried to negotiate and the entire group, ended up not purchasing anything. The staff was nice, the ride was fun, but could have been organized better, in my opinion. Upfront pricing for everything is much more accepting than dealing with the bait and switch that was happening.

I did this tour with my husband and overall it was a good activity that didn't take a whole day away from my vacation time. Hotel pick up and drop off went smoothly. The staff is nice and the tour started on time. The drive is fun. The buggies are well kept. We felt safe throughout the whole experience. Bring cash to tip and buy the pictures. You can also ride with your phone and take a few snaps yourself. I am comfortable recommending this tour to anyone.

Our tour started when we arrived at the super buggy lot. It had rained the night before and decided/were told that goggles would be better for the tour instead of the sunglasses we had brought. They charged us $1000 pesos to rent 4 goggles for 2 hours (was supposed to be 3 hours btw) which is nearly 20 dollars! The goggles could be purchased on Amazon 18 dollars for a set of 5. So really this scam just ruined the excursion for me. There is nothing worse then being taken advantage of If you ask me. There is another similar tour vendor I saw near the 27 waterfalls park so I am going to try that one next time. It looks much nicer .

Single ($110) or two-seater ($130) 4x4 buggies. The ride is about 1 h through bumpy, wet and muddy dirt roads. You'll end up completely soaked. Includes two rests, one on a stunning desert beach where you can swim in the sea. Lots of fun for boys. Their staff take plenty of photos, will email them to you for $30.
