This tour is totally private. Your guide will take care of you all during these 2 days. He will explain you the history and give you most of the information through funny stories to have a good. In 2 days, you'll have a gobal overview of the champagne : the big houses and the small producers. You will taste 4 different big houses champagne the first day and 2 small producers with minimum 8 glasses the second day !

What to expect
Itinerary
Day 1: Big houses of Champagne
Stop At: Champagnes Pommery, 5 Place General Gouraud, 51100, Reims France
Visit the cellars, enjoy a tasting in the old vinification centre and have a look to the brand shop. You will cross the champagne cellar where there are the biggest bottles of champagne ageing.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Veuve Clicquot-Ponsardin, 1 rue Albert Thomas, 51100, Reims France
Visit the shop with all the beautiful branding products and enjoy a tasting at Veuve CLicquot tasting room.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Moet et Chandon, 20 avenue de Champagne, 51200, Epernay France
Visit the cellars, taste Moet champagne and enjoy the shop with Moet and Dom Perignon bottles and branding products
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Champagne Mercier, 68 Avenue de Champagne, 51200, Epernay France
Enjoy a cellar visit by small train ! See all without walking. Then have a tasting and a look to the shop and the biggest Champagne oak barrel fone for 200.000 bottles !
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Meals included:

Day 2: Small producers discovery
Stop At: Verzenay, Verzenay, Marne, Grand Est
Visit a small producer in the mountain of Reims. The winemaker selected is in "Grand Cru" village. The winemaker will do a private visit of you : his press centre, vinification centre and cellars.
Taste minimum 4 different champagnes with the winemaker you will comment the tasting only for you.
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: Rilly-la-Montagne, Rilly-la-Montagne, Marne, Grand Est
Visit a winemaker in a "1er cru" classified village of Champagne. Visit his cellar, learn his history and his way of making the champagne. Taste different champagnes from an other village with totally different tastes than the first one visited.
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: Verzy, Verzy, Marne, Grand Est
Enjoy the UNESCO classified landscapes of Champagne with a drive through the vineyards.
Duration: 1 hour
Meals included:
• Breakfast: Breakfast at the hotel or in the vineyards if the weather permits.
• Lunch: 3 courses lunch in tradition French restaurant. Drinks in extra.

Our only regret is that we didn't make it longer. He has a way of sharing his in depth knowledge of the area in an interesting and exciting way. Our visits to each of the vineyards were amazing, especially the smaller houses that he chose. His ongoing communication prior to our visit was outstanding while he was custom planning our tour. He patiently answered every question and was quick to welcome us to Reims once we arrived. Do not hesitate to schedule time with Stephane to see this amazing area! We miss you Stephane!nitsogar

We visited a variety of champagne houses including large and small. We experienced large cellars that were covered in artwork and small family cellars dating back generations. It was wonderful to see the presses and the vineyards right after harvest and we felt very welcome during this time which may have been impossible without someone like Stephane arranging. It seemed that he had a personal relationship with each of the winemakers and each had a special reason to visit. We loved the countryside and all of the knowledge that Stephane was able to share! Two days was enough that we felt we had experienced the area but any less and we may not have felt like we truly appreciated all that it has to offer.johnnyfritzerberg

We were only 2 days in Reims and wanted to see and taste the more we can of very god Champagnes. With this tour we have visited the cellars of big brands we already known the taste but we also diacovered small producers which was a tasting revolution for us. We were only 2 days in Reims and wanted to see and taste the more we can of very god Champagnes. With this tour we have visited the cellars of big brands we already known the taste but we also diacovered small producers which was a tasting revolution for us. Very good taste sometimes better than big brands and cheap price. Stephane also drive us to a quiet and romantic valley hidden and covered of vineyards. What a wonderful tour !
