My wife and I have just finished the 2 day tour with our guide, Domingo. From the night before the tour to stepping off the bus after Machu Picchu Domingo was excellent. As was, Jesus, our driver on Day 1. The scenery was unbelievable throughout and we never felt rushed at any stage - we were at Machu Picchu for 4.5 hours. Domingo also helped us take photos which we will cherish forever. I cant recommend this company and tour enough. Thank you, Domingo.Machu Picchu is a once in a lifetime experience and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately I think we ended up with a tour guide who missed the mark. The tour logistics was great. Machu Picchu is a once in a lifetime experience and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately I think we ended up with a tour guide who missed the mark. The tour logistics was great. The tour guide's knowledge and English was pretty good. The reason why I took off 2 stars is due to the morning we planned to visit Machu Picchu, our tour guide was 40 mins late to pick us up from the hotel. That put a major damper on our big day. He apologized for being late however that doesn't get us our time back.We organized a 7 days trip to Peru with my family, with the help of Fredy who assisted us a lot to create our trip in a personalized way. we set up an itinerary that we thought was very good and took it. We organized a 7 days trip to Peru with my family, with the help of Fredy who assisted us a lot to create our trip in a personalized way. we set up an itinerary that we thought was very good and took it. We arrived from Lima to Cusco, and they picked us up in a large and spacious car for all my family. Also, they gave us a hotel in Cusco with a room that was excellent to share with the family with kids. We visited the Sacred Valley of the Incas on the first day, passing through a farm of alpacas and llamas where my children could touch them and take pictures of them. We also passed through his job with a lot of dedication. We had a great day in Machu Picchu, we visited the inca city and had a private guided tour for 2 hours and 30 minutes. After that, we had a full hour just for ourselves and a delicious lunch in the town of Aguas Calientes. Thank you very much to all of you guys from Machu Picchu Viajes Peru, we highly recommend this tour company.First and foremost, we have to give highest compliments to our guide: Sandro. First and foremost, we have to give highest compliments to our guide: Sandro. He made this tour seamless and highest quality for us due to his personality and knowledge. We learned a lot about the local culture, history, agriculture, architecture and more. I will mention a couple of areas for improvement, but first the positives. Pick up and drop off at hotels in Cusco certainly made things easier. The car ride from Cusco and the train ride on Inca Rail were very comfortable and enjoyable. Lunch buffet on day 1 was included, and we really enjoyed the stop in sacred valley for a delicious meal at a restaurant with an adjacent organic farm. Tour of agricultural terraces at Pisaq and sun temple ruins were very informative and a great opportunity to get fantastic views of the valley. We had plenty of time to also explore on our own. At no time did we feel rushed or ignored, which was very important to us. Also, the tour of Machu Picchu on day 2 simply can not be described in words!! Bus ride was very comfortable, and Sandro knew exactly how to guide us to the right places at the right time for best views, pictures and information about Incan architecture, sun temple, geography, local birds/animals, vegetation and so much more...can't stress enough how much we appreciated the time Sandro spent on explaining the itinerary, pick up and drop off points, little details about the places/towns we visited, and the pride he takes in being an ambassador for Peruvian culture. A couple of areas for improvement: hotel (Golden Sunrise) for overnight stay was a bit disappointing...be warned that it is a very basic hotel with no air conditioning (could be a problem in summer for some), bathroom had no shower curtain and the flush was malfunctioning, and also we were moved to 3 different rooms because they couldn't figure out how to give us keys that worked! Anyway, the breakfast was fine and the room was sufficient for a quick overnight stop. Perhaps offer customers the option to pay a little extra for nicer hotel accommodation? Also, it would be nice to have Inca Rail 360 for both legs of the journey. We had Inca Rail 360 on the return journey and realized that the panoramic views make the journey even more spectacular! That said, Inca Rail Voyager is very comfortable too! In summary, we would HIGHLY recommend this tour and give our highest commendation to the services provided by Sandro (guide) and Junior (driver). We are grateful for the experience!!
