This October (2023) I had the opportunity to explore Peru with Machu Picchu Tours. John Taqquere Villanueva was our tour guide. The Machu Picchu tours team is very passionate and knowledgeable, they took care of every detail of our trip and they even took our pictures. My group took the 2-day Inca Trail tour and had a fantastic time - definitely the highlight of our whole Peru trip. Of the 3 other tours we took from Cusco, this was by far our favorite company and experience. From the beginning they explained everything clearly and answered all our questions. Our guide Charly was the best. We never felt rushed and he took lots of time to explain the geography, botany, and history along the hike and in Machu Picchu citadel. As a group of 5 girls, we felt safe and cared for the whole time. Highly recommend this company for your tour.

Our guide Charly was amazing, he knew so much about the plants along the trail, the environment, and the structures along the way, he took fantastic care of us and we had great meals and a comfortable place to stay. Machu Picchu has been a dream of mine since I was a child. This 2 day experience with the guide we had made for more of a wonderful journey than I even expected. I loved everything about it, I highly recommend to anyone interested. The price is worth every second.

A very insightful trip to Machu Picchu along the two day short Inca Trail with John. We visited three Inca sites before stepping into Machu Picchu and the tour gave us a detailed understanding to the Inca civilization and Andean civilization. The food were taken care of by the company and they were really good and filling. The detailed guided tour of Machu picchu on the secind day was very insightful. Well worth the time and money.
