Joe Cannella was a wonderful host and tour guide. He explained the origins of the distillery name as well as his own history (Cannella means "cinnamon" in Italian - his family came from Sicily). His spirits were unusual and very flavorful, and the cocktails were delicious! Our fellow guests were a group of firemen from Hawaii-- we had such a blast! We highly recommend the tour. We will definitely be back.

Ferino is definitely a unique gem. It’s not just a typical distillery where they make exactly the same thing as every other distillery. We did the distillery tour and tasting flight which was hosted by Joe, the owner of the distillery. He focuses on making spirits that are inspired by his Italian heritage and you can taste the passion he puts into his craft. In addition to the spirits we tased as part of the tour, we had several cocktails at the bar. While there, we met one of the regulars who was a lot of fun to talk to. After the tour, tasting flight, and time at the bar, I have a much deeper appreciation of Italian Apéritif spirits and the art of making them.

The founder of Ferino Distillery is a great guy with a great story. He made the evening fun and informative and we would definitely go back for other experiences.

Nobody showed up for the tour. We waited outside for 30 minutes. Would love to know the reason for the no show.

It was very informative and tasty. We had a great time. I would do it again. We all purchased the Cinnamon and the coffee and some bitters. Once I got home My husband loved both.

Joe was great in sharing his family story. History is there and we had a fabulous time! Learned a bit about whiskey making and the family name!

I used to think I was strictly a wine person and not a liqueur/cocktail person but a visit to Ferino Distillery made me change my mind! Amazing experience, very informative and fun, great drinks. I bought a bottle of each variety! Highly recommended.

Wonderful time the distillery is small but the story is really good. It’s mostly hanging out and drinking a flight and listening to the story of the distillery but I really liked the story.

Went in the first time for the amaro tasting and tour!! Was so great we bought 3 bottles. Came back for the amazing bar and cocktails. It’s one of árenos best bars

If I could choose 0 I would, no one from the distillery showed up to give the tour. We waited 5 min past knocked on the door and still no one.

Joe made it a very pleasant and informative experience during the liqueure tasting process! And the.liqueur is delicious!

Joe and his partner in crime were amazing! We had the best time. Joe gave a great recap of his journey thus far with his distillery and the heritage behind it. He was most gracious with the shaningans that our group tends to dish out, which puts the tour on a sharp right to hilarity and debauchery with our multitude of questions about the distilling process. I'm sure the influence of the high-quality liquors definitely upped the antiy on our groups malarky, but Joe rolled right along with us! We hope he had as great a time as we did and would definitely recommend his tour and the distillery! 5 stars for sure!

My husband and I celebrated our 2nd marriage anniversary in Tahoe and decided to stop by….had an amazing time learning about the history, distilling process, and of course the great tastings! Just go! You won’t be disappointed….very nice setting and vibe
